It's Quiet the £250m return

Marmoush. 16 games 7 goals 2 assist. Think he's settled.
It’s more about going through a season when you have three games per week, have faced opponents for a second time, and can deliver when asked to play in other positions, too. I have great faith in him, but I also accept that his season is going to be interrupted, and players don’t always find that rhythm again after a lengthy absence.

It’s possible but it’s not going to be smooth sailing. Of those mentioned, based on what we’ve just seen, four are dependable and the other four are fairly reliable, though there is no guarantee that we can automatically depend on them all for the length of next season. Marmoush is new to the league and will understandably take time to settle.

Even with experienced additions, many of whom might themselves be new to the country and league, it’s going to be logistically difficult to have everyone ready to go in early August, particularly if there are also new goalkeepers. I’m just being realistic. The future certainly looks promising but there’s going to be choppy waters first.
Won’t be plain sailing but
I can’t wait to see how we line up and how we play. If we win nothing next season so be it but think we’ll challenge much more than this season.
Will it take 2 / 3 years to look like a champions league or treble team winning team , maybe but that will be fun watching us develop again, @excited by the next few years.

Regarding MGW I think he’s a better player than this forum gives him credit for, BUT he’s a **** and I’d rather get Reindeer and Cherki and fuck him off
I’d happily have all 3, the speed of Cherki’s feet and flamboyant nature (from the clips I’ve seen) reminds me of a more physical Mahrez. Reijnders looks an all rounder and I agree that MGW appears to be a bit of a ****.

However, he’s a fit, pacy **** with a bit of needle in him. I sometimes feel one of the few things we miss is a bit of an aggressive fucker in the team who has a bit of cuntishness about them when it’s required. Add in his relationship with Phil and it might be a good fit for all parties.

Really excited to see the refresh of City over this summer, between players and coaches there’s a shit load going on. Will be sad to see some top top lads bow out though.

Fabrizio saying on his YouTube that sources at city are the ones giving him info how he got the Reijnders info and Peps new assistant. I’d think that would be Viana.

No chance 10 first team players leave. No way.

KDB, Grealish, Ederson, Mcatee, Walker, Phillips, Stones. That's 7 there.

I wouldn't be surprised if Gundo and Bernardo leave as they only have 1 year left and I wouldn't be surprised to have seen Viana tell them both that if they do stay next year they won't be getting much game time.

The World Cup next year will see a lot of the older or out of favour players consider moves because for a lot of them it will be their last ever potential World Cup.

Quite agree. I’ve always said that this rebuild would take time, but it’s unlikely we’ll ever settle for building another peak ‘n trough side. There will have to be more churn and more prioritising of League/Champions League, maybe even the Club World Cup, rather than spreading ourselves too thin and again falling flat in spring.

Guardiola is going to have to be brave and maybe bruise a few egos, so if that means benching Haaland, or anyone else for that matter, to change the system, then get on with it. I also expect the new coaching team to work on getting even more out of the existing players, some of whom are not developing fast enough nor showing improved fitness. Not going to be dull.
