It's Quiet the £250m return

He was also a liability in alot of games like the rest of the CM, if you can upgrade do it. If you have to bump him to 3rd choice though. He's probably the one you take being able to play the #6
I agree with you, but for me he was one of the better CMs this season and especially towards the end of the season he played a big part in the CL participation.

Poor form won't stop a transfer and this 'Pep is too loyal' crap is just that, crap.
Didn't say he was "too loyal", just said he was loyal

Look on this thread and everyone wants us to get rid of 2 or all of Bernardo, Gundogan & Kovacic

Those 3 rank 3rd, 6th and 7th for most Prem minutes played this season. Wouldn't surprise me if only 1 of those left

If poor form didnt affect a transfer then we wouldnt still be talking about Kalvin Phillips

Yeah, i tend to err on the side of caution with that, not sure if its down to the fact we went to one game a week, the older players all looked alot better mentally and physically, which is great but we're piling into 3 a week again from the off with a short break.

He'd probably be my choice to stay though.

He adds things which none of the current links or our existing midfield have. Putting him (back) into a well established, functioning, midfield where he's able to play his own game and not picking up the pieces, I'm sure he would still add a huge amount of value for us.

Not to mention, his performances can only increase or maintain his price tag for when we do eventually move him on.

Got a real problem with jsut buying a player because they're home-grown and will cost £60mil or more

At least Livramento seems to be a top player in a position that is pretty weak across world football, but you've got players like Branthwaite, MGW, Eze, Wharton etc. Who granted are good but you can probably find a few players in each league of a similar quality and players of much better quality....and they'd cost half the price (Cherki vs MGG/Eze case in point)
Me too but it’s not like we have a choice ?
By the end of next summer. Grealish, Walker, Stones, Ake, McAtee and maybe Rico Lewis will all be gone. We have to make our new homegrown numbers.

Who’s out there ? I’ve been trying to answer that question myself that’s good enough for us. Could barely find any lol
Dean Henderson as a backup gk
Jarrod Bowen since we’re playing inside forwards now
Jacob Ramsey he’s okay
Ola Aina but only as a backup RB
Trafford has insane numbers as a GK
That’s about it I’m afraid.

This is why I back the MGW signing now. He’s pretty good. It’s unfortunate Forest are taking us to the cleaners.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but highly doubt we’ll be selling Kova this summer especially since he’ll be out injured for 3 months.

Ffs

Courtinho was injured for 3 weeks after Pool sold him. I think it’s possible.

Thought Kova helped us a lot reaching the CL and was one of our best players in the end of the season.

He’s already been replaced, Reijnders has the same skill set as Kova. Great ball carrier and a threat from outside the box. He can also play as a 6 if we need him too. He’s just stronger more athletic and younger. But also carry’s a better goal threat.

I’m based in Newcastle and there’s no appetite for letting Livramento go. I’m not sure where the story is coming from but he’ll cost Grealish money to shift him. MGW is a bizarre one for me. There has to be better than that available. Not sure why we’re not looking at that palace RB Munoz. He looks the deal to me.
Grealish money for a bloody RB the world’s gone mad.

I like Munoz but didn’t he just extend ? Would rather think more long term and get Vanderson. And some English back up GK

MGW isn’t a scrub he’s pretty decent

I’d love for you to be correct ahsan but I just don’t see it. Especially with the international fixtures taking place this week etc. I think cherki and Rudolph are absolute certs to be in the cwc. The rest will have to wait imo.

I’m not even convinced the club know who to target at full back yet and that will probably depend on outgoings (I.e do we need to replace hg players)

The club know who they're targeting, and all the deals are 'in process'. It is physically impossible that they aren't absolutely clear on their targets. I just think they'll work 2/3 deals at a time. I expect by the end of the week for 2 to be done, and then the others to be pushed next week.

Not saying they'll get them all in in the 10 day period but my expectation is 4 will get done before the CWC starts.

Bizarre to suggest our elite setup don't bloody know who our targets are is it!

I’d say it will be about £40m. Cherki, Ait Nouri and Reijnders for £130m will be good business. I think we’ll make close to £100m in sales this summer.
I think it will be more than 100m pounds in sales.
