It's Quiet the £250m return

Who have we at left back if alt nouri grts injured?
Who have we at right back at all?

If dias gets injured or Gvardiol who do we have? Gomez is more proven than khusonov and certainly Reis.

Gvardiol, Ake or O'Reilly at present. Who do they have if Kerkez gets injured?

And at centre-back we currently have a number of treble winners still available at centre-back, plus Khusanov and Reis. If I'm being positive about them, they must be pretty highly rated by the club to be signed at the prices they were.

So who is Liverpool's 4th centre back?

Ake is a perma crock
Gvardiol willbe playing centre half
OReilly is a no 10

Lewis and Nunes are shit at right back

Why do people think it is depressing to point out flaws in our squad?...its only a game....there is a real life out there and Im not sure how people cope with that if you think someones opinions on a forum depress them......i thought the snowflake generation was all in there early 20's but clearly some reside on here mascarading as hardened long serving football fans of this club...

Remember its just a game
Your answer is as expected.
Gvardiol will be playing CB, yes. You asked who would cover Ait-Nouri and I gave three names, Gvardiol being one, Ake and O'Reilly the others. They are just facts regardless of your opinion.

Nunes and Lewis are the current right backs. Again, they are facts not opinion.

The cover for Dias is currently Stones, Akanji, Khusanov, and Reis. Again, facts.

Your posts are depressing to read because they are relentlessly negative. That does not induce depression, but it does warrant criticism. Try to think of what you are looking forward to about the season ahead just to give some balance to your views.

Not disagreeing he aint that good but he people are acting like Reis is beckenbaur and he has hardly played ever and looked decidedly ropey when he has played on a couple of occasions as well
Gomez is nearer 30 than 20, Reis is new to this continent .
Have you ever been to Anfield? Serious question.

Why do people get so pressed on this forum about others having views they disagree with? Isn't the whole point of a forum to discuss things and share differing views? Why don't people just ignore or block people if they get upset reading their posts?
I know where you’re coming from but you’re being a tad naive I think. It’s a fine line between discussion and argument sometimes, and my own view is there’s a place for both on the forum, as one person’s discussion is another’s argument.
People get passionate about things. That’s good, I think.

Sometimes if I get ‘upset’ by a post I’ll ignore it, but other times that’s the last thing I want to do. Instead I wanna respond asap.

The toxic posts in here are a thing to behold.

I notice the usual suspects are at it again. Really should know better, couple obviously have anger issues and lack basic intellect.

I can’t read all the comments as some are on ignore. I wish the Ronny Pickerings in here would give it a rest. They don’t intimidate anyone and only come across as sad lonely individuals who are unhappy in life.

If you recognise yourself here, maybe try a reset..

Next season is not far away blues, one way or another it’s going to be a blast.

People are looking at history when saying we have treble winners there...yes Stones and Ake are fantastic players (nad have been) -but they are rarely available ...they are absolutely uselss if we cant get them fit and keep them fit for more than a run of 2-3 games at a time....if they were available we wouldnt need anyone but the fact that they are never available and that will probably continue means we need a decent and experienced centre half

So yes we have cover - but they are pretty much redundant and never available - meaning we have to relyon two untried and untested defenders...(one who may be loaned out as well)

Facts yes - but do you think Ake will be available based on previous seasons?
OReillyis a youngster playing out of position - he gets exposed by half decent teams

Its fact that Nunes is NOT a right back - we bought him as a midfielder and before last season he has never played there..so no he is not a right back. Rico Lewis started as a right back and got usurped by someone who is NOT a right back - that in itsefl speaks volumes

The cover for Dias - some of them wont be available...Stones and Ake will miss more games than they play so our cover is Akanji and the two youngsters (one who maybe loaned out)....

If you think that is good enough to go for the title then fair enough...I say its good enough for top 4-5.

If people cant take someone pointing out flaws in the squad then fine....lets debate it..Im fine with that but saying its depressing is just a little weak at very best....disagree - I have zero problem with that

What Ive seen on this forum over the 15 years or so Ive been on here is that if you post happy clappy stuff then its all fine.....the moment you post anything about needing to improve some people jump all over it. Ivec ome to the conclusion that they are so delicate about the topic of MCFC that they just cant handle it....I wonder why?.....god help them on anything of real importance.

our erratic Janurary panic window with only Marmoush good enough.

I don't think think we made mistakes in January. The problem is Pep loves his players who have experience and know what he wants and that's why the new players aren't trusted.

That's the problem and there's no fix for it other than shipping out the older experienced players.

I mean if you give him Iniesta, he'd play Iniesta over Gundogan and Reijnders everyday!

Players have earned Peps trust/respect over time and the new players coming in will have the same chance. I agree with the argument why change when you are winning, we didn’t and we blew up but the positive of that for me is we are rebuilding.
Players will leave, it just hasn’t happened yet.

I like we have a fiercely loyal manager as we all want fiercely loyal players. That’s the price of being a serial winner.

You only point out the flaws though?! Post the positives of the team change how you think! Look at what we have now good those players are how wining only 1 out of 13 last season we still managed 3rd as well with all the injuries, now look at the team now with new players Rodri back Foden back!

Now read my post and follow it up with a positives post not! “How do we know Rodri will be back to where he was before?!” “How do we know Foden be back?” What if?!!

So, what is it that you are looking forward to then?
I don't know whether Ake will be available or not. And, as the transfer window isn't done until September, I am not worried a jot.

If players, like Nunes, cannot be moulded, then Joelinton should have stayed as a failing striker rather than becoming one of the most physical and powerful central midfielders in the PL. Coaching can help players adapt to new roles, and sometimes their original position was not right for them anyway.

I am excited by the plethora of young talent in the squad and looking forward to the season ahead. We have flaws like any team, but I would bet that the fans of other teams consider us one of the favourites for the league.

I am not worried about playing Khusanov and Reis. Obviously my opinion don’t count and the board doesn’t know me but if u buy two talents for 30-40M each and can’t trust them as 4th and 5th option then we are just buying for the sake of it. I an sure Khusanov and Reis would’ve played much more often if not started for Madrid if they chose then instead or Madrid actually tried.
All we need is an actual RB.

If Newcastle can really only scrape together £25m to bid for Wissa, there might be life left in the Livramento saga…
They can scrape more after offering 80 for Ekitike. Wissa just isn’t worth it. I feel like he overachieved and will flop completely on his own. Individually he’s not near Mbuemo + 3-4 years older. Newcastle would be dumb to pay more than 40.
