Last season Rico got the blame for Kovacic's mistake.

This season Trafford is getting the blame for Dias's mistake for the second goal. I really don't know what Ruben was thinking there.. that Trafford is Ederson.. passing to his left foot with a square pass from a goal kick when we're 0-1 down, about to go to half time. It was like playing Russian Roulette and it went off BANG. Totally braindead move but the kid gets the blame.. even though he was solid. Could do some things better but solid and massive double save at the end.

Yes I love Dias but obviously he needs to find a girlfriend who doesn't fuck his brains out!

I’ve watched it again and again, and watched that first goal again before posting a couple of hours ago, just to check I’m not going mad or blaming him unnecessarily, but it’s awful pisspoor defending from a supposed top class international defender.

He wasn’t great against Wolves too, but that got masked over because we won 4-0.

Give over mate, wasn’t that Rico isn’t quick enough, he’s daydreaming and ball watching instead of being aware.

I’d say fundamentally, the main mistake is Dias not being good enough in first place, then Rico, then lastly Stones as I think a slip is the least of the 3 errors.

I personally don’t see that as a huge error, certainly not as bad as either of Dias and Rico’s involvements, which were both terrible defending full stop.

I think everything is all agreed with Galatasaray for Ederson, but I have a feeling considering PSG have ousted Donnarumma from their squad and he only has one year left, Viana is on the blower not budging from £15m/£20m

Not a chance are we paying anything close to the £30m-£40m they want for a player that only has one year left and has been kicked out of the squad in all but effect.

I worry about the Savinho transfer. I have a concern we are going to sell him to Spurs reluctantly because he is pushing it and we won't get anyone in to replace him.

He just finished second with Wolfsburg and got Bundesliga record 20 assists, no comparison to Cherki. I understand your point ,but i wouldnt put Kevin in that list ,he had finished an astonishing season. Reijnders will be a good player for sure ,Marmoush doesn´t seem to fit very well in our team and other 2 just don´t get playing time. I really wish Pep will start using Khusanov soon.

Cherki had 13 goals and 21 assists for Lyon. The comparisons are valid.
KDB was a legend for us, and had a great season for Wolfsburg, but he was not the worldy he became.

Looks like Spurs are going big on Lookman as an alternative though.

If Rodrygo isn't already green lit can't see us moving Savio, that seems to be the messaging lately.

Up until today I was very optimistic. Now I'm just concluding that Pep's decision to remain with the static quo last Summer has fucked us to a level where it's going to take some time before we get anywhere near the level we were at. Let's just say we disagree massively, but I am unsure what you mean by " an extremely talented young midfielder that the rags are trying to ruin".

With them being in such an ignominious position football wise, I would have assumed that they would be only to pleased to have such a valuable asset at their disposal ?

Surely they need all the good players that they can possibly get in that team ?

Although I have become used to your "highly enthusiastic" interest in any number of players, I find this one especially strange, as I cannot identify enough attributes he possesses to consider him to be good enough for City.

With the number of posters on here who regularly criticise Rico Lewis for example, for lacking in any stand out abilities, I simply fail to see how Mainoo would be any different.

But I clearly do not have your vast knowledge and awareness of players together with their capabilites across the various football leagues, so I can only assume that I am simply missing the big picture.
