We won’t sign Cherki and Rodrygo. Depending on midfield departures we may get Cherki and MGW but if Kova does need surgery I doubt anyone will take him so that’s one less midfield departure. I’d like to see him stay personally anyway.

How many players who we've signed have announced specific reasons why they didn't sign for someone else?

I find some of the reasoning to do with the case and transfers a bit bizarre.

Most seem to think that the one of the main reasons the charges were made is to blacken our name and make us less attractive.

But then people seem annoyed at the possibility that players who are at other clubs could be affected by that too. I'd find it strange if it didn't have some form of impact on some.

Yes many players will still be happy to sign for us. Some of these will be from lesser clubs, some may not have other options as good as we are. However, top players have their pick of clubs and this could work against us. One top club v another, one with a question mark over a possible future punishment. It could swing things. In fact, the club may even know that it has done on occasion.

Dont see us getting either tbh. MGW and Reijnders and 2 FBs
 
I'm not really interested in a value for money transfer window. We did that last year when receiving a large fee for Alvarez and Bobb promptly getting injured.

I want 2-3 signings who are better than what we've got and will walk into the First XI. If that means paying over the odds then so be it.

As much as we hope he could become it, Marmoush is miles off elite and has basically had 1 good season.

I don't agree at all mate, but you're entitled to believe that. We've signed or extended contracts for a number of players since the charges. Our manager has extended his contract too. These are players/managers with a huge reputation in the game. The other factors I mentioned are far more important than any charges, particularly when the club will give assurances that all will be okay. Would you rather sign for City or Arsenal at this present moment? A team that has won the lot or a team on a journey to 2nd place every season? I think the majority of players would pick us regardless of 100 charges they know nothing about, if told it's not something to worry about. If Arsenal pay more than us then it's a different matter.

Nunes won't leave City. I think he will back himself for another season.

I have a feeling we are prepared to walk away from MGW.

It's why there are now links to Cherki and rumours Arsenal are interested in MGW which in my opinion is nonsense and a leak from Forest to the media to hurry City and panic us into paying what they want.

Yep zero chance Arsenal want MGW, either it’s completely made up for clicks or it’s a leak from the Forest end

gut feeling is the MGW alt. will be someone else who can play an 8/10 as well tbh. I expect a swerve once that MGW deal is properly dead.
