It's Quiet the £250m return

What I would like:

Costa (If Ederson Leaves)
Vanderson
Kerkez
Reijnders
Gibbs White
Rodrygo

What I think it will be :

Costa
Wesley
Ait Nouri
Reijnders
Gibbs White

Winger short imo and if we sign Wesley I bet Pep doesn’t play him! We need straight in starters don’t we?

I reckon Reijnders, Gibbs White and Wesley will be done next week before the CWC, or whenever that 1 week window is open after the season.
I’d be really happy with Wesley, but seems to have gone a bit quiet and the Livramento links now out. Can’t see us signing both.

It's a not really £250 million spent though is it? We are probably going to get close to that with sales.

£500 million is what is needed this summer so we are actually spending rather than just spending what we collect from player transfer fees. Where is this "warchest" that's spoken about every summer?

All this goodbye Kev material is making me realise how good we’ve had it.

It’s also making me worried that it’s not just his creative powers, it’s his determination and leadership exiting the door.

One thing transfer wise I think we need quite desperately is a leader. Who is ours at the min? Guess it’ll be Rodri but who else have we got really? Dias?

I think we need another.

Leader should be leading with the way he plays imo, so definetly Rodri for me. Dias has been really average lately, you can shout and wave for your team ,but if your own game doesn´t follow your lead ,you shouldn´t be a leader.

For the past 3 years I have been told we have a "war chest" ready and are going to spend it. For the past 3 years we haven't I will believe it when I see it.
I agree mate .I don’t think anyone believes any signings atm as we make ahitloads of money every year and don’t spend what we should and also I want this court case over as it’s having a massive Impact on players coming in . If we are guilty then let’s get on with it and if we are innocent then it’s done .

That’s my concern mate, we need straight in starters at full back
I just can’t help but think this could be like signing a young Dani Alves and have a quality RB for years.

We need someone to come in right away though, but some players can take that opportunity.

spot on , can´t continue to be the only team in the world without full backs :D it just won´t work.
It's unbelievable really

You got 2 midfielders as our best full backs on form, one is a mid-table(ish) player and the other is a 20 year old

At least with Delph/Zinchenko they were prem experienced and were balanced by Walker, the best full back in the league, maybe of all time, in his prime on the other flank

Image the 17/18 season having Delph on one flank and some like Brahim Daz, Sancho or Patrick Roberts at RB...thats what it's currently like

None of this inverted FB nonsense, give me a natural full back, who always plays at full back, and acts like a 'traditional' full back

Without sounding too glass half emptyish…do we think we’re finding it difficult to attract players now because of our style of play?

I’ve said recently the style of largely down to teams refusing to have a go against us - which I still believe is true - rather than trying to play expansive football against us leaving space like they do for Liverpool.

I wonder if players look at that (Wirtz/Kerkez as examples) and prefer to play in that type of system rather than the one we have.

I am assuming Pep is going to change a few things and hopefully open games up a bit more but that would probably mean taking more risks on the defensive side of things (lower block/more back to invite pressure to counter) or whether he’ll stick to his principles of possession-based football. If the latter, I hope there’s a master plan.

Who are we selling to raise £1/4Bn

Who are we selling to raise £1/4Bn
Tbf it's probably not THAT hard to find, depends how aggressive we are selling players

£20mil Ederson
£25mil Perrone (confirmed?)
£25mil Couto (confirmed?)
£20mil Doyle
£20mil McAtee
£20mil Grealish
£15mil Ake

Best part of £150mil there on players thay dont really seem to have a future here, also you could get rid of the below depending on who Pep wants to keep

£30mil Bernardo
£30mil Nunes
£20mil Kovacic
£20mil Akanji
£10mil stones (wages + injuries is why this is so low)

Maybe as much as £20mil from the EDS or other lonaees moving on permanently

Maybe a nominal fee for Walker or Phillips?

I don't think we will make that much, but we could

Probably some of the top class EDS as well to be honest? It’s a money maker really isn’t it the academy?
