Olise is slightly older, Guler great shout but wasn't couting him as a winger, Pino I'd keep Doku.

It does kinda illustrate the point though, we under appreciate our wingers when we compare them to their peers. Think Doue and Barcola would take the same stick on bluemoon if they played for us.

Guler would be my ideal signing, reminds me off Messi and David Silva, so technical.

Liverpool is adding Wirtz, Kerkez, Frimpong and potentially a striker after winning the PL. We won’t be contenders for the title if we see Akanji, Bernardo and Gundogan starting every single week. Someone also has to make room for Nico and Khusanov, in addition to 4-5 new signings

I’d keep Ake, Kova and Nunes as squad players, but I’d sell Ederson (wants to leave), Walker, Stones (sick note), Akanji, Bernardo, Gundo, Grealish and McAtee. Echeverri and Bah on loan. Time to be ruthless like in 2017 and build a squad for the future. This season has showed we need younger and hungrier players

Bottom line, I think we will have the tricky job to add top homegrown players to replace HGs like Stones, Aké or Grealish.

Without creativity being added next season will be just like this one. rodri makes no difference in this sense next year and even IF Foden returns to full form he isnt creative - he is a 15+ goal a season player but he aint creative.

Next season hangs on this and we need someone big time.

Reignders looks decent but again not necessarily creative.

Off the top of my head there’s doue/yamal/barcola maybe Saka/Olise unsure of their ages, not that interested to fact check. End of the day they are not good enough, we can’t carry both of them and to rely on them to create. Doku isn’t compatible with Haaland. The last time both scored was in January, it’s simple not good enough if we’re aiming to be winning things, one has to go.

Akanji, Bernardo and Gundo should be the ones that potentially miss out on the squad next season. It’s time for new blood. It will be better for them too, particularly Bernardo who has been run to the moon and back since he signed. We may even see his performances improve if he plays every now and again.

It's whether or not we can get players out the door though.

With the foreign quota we are on a 1 in 1 out basis at the moment.

Stones aint going anywhere, 1 year left, 250k a week, sick note. He will see out his last year.

Bernardo the same, 1 year left, he is on 300k a week.

Gundogan is on £240k a week and 1 year left.

Ake sick note, 1 year left.

I think we are going to have to wait until a lot of these players see out their deal then properly rebuild.

In the meantime, replace Kev with Reijnders and Grealish with MGW.

Do our best to bring some fullbacks in and try and convince Ederson to stay.

That will be us I reckon.
