It's Quiet the £250m return

Thinking someone said Pep and Lillo are known for full on shouting matches over tactics in one of Peps books. lol

must be a hell of sight

Probably arguing about whether passing backwards 40 times is enough or not. Always felt they shared a very similar, too similar, philosophy.

Pep has alluded to the fact that before he signed his last contract the plan was to leave and Arteta take the job. They went on a family holiday to Scotland and he changed his mind.

If Xavi does come in I find it hard to believe it would be a different situation to that.

Talks about the dinners at Pep’s apartment and how sometimes they end up in rows but never gets personal as they are great friends I think you see it sometimes on the bench

Garcia
Livramento
Ait Nouri
Gibbs White
Reijnders
Cherki

Could defo live with that.
Garcia – He’s been my first choice for a while now, so I’m really glad we’re finally linked and making a move for him.

Livramento – Solid option and helps with the homegrown quota. Good player with potential to grow further to be a serious star.

Nouri – Technically brilliant and calm under pressure and defensively okay. While he wouldn’t have been my first choice — I would’ve gone for Dimarco due to his grit, defensive aggression, and attacking output — I understand the direction. Dimarco’s delivery to Haaland and cut-backs to players like Marmoush or Reijnders would’ve been lethal. But with Nouri being younger and now links to Cherki coming in — who’s a creative force — Nouri makes a lot of sense but wish he was more defensively superior but I guess you can't have it all. His technical ability going forward is ridiculous, and he complements that attacking setup well. @Dax777 Lol, I know you do not like Italian players, coming out of Italy but yeah Dimarco would have been the one for me, not that I am not happy with Nouri.

MGW – A necessary evil for the homegrown quota and its price demands, but also brings that relentless energy we badly need in midfield. MGW gives us legs, pressing, and movement — all crucial traits.

Reijnders – I’ve been banging the drum and raving about him since last year. A quick defender (which came in a form of Khusanov thanks God), Reijnders and Marmoush weremy dream January signings. I’m thrilled we’re pushing to get this done.

Cherki – Wildly talented, insanely creative. Yes, he’s lazy and doesn’t last the full 90 at high intensity(hope he could drop weight), but his upside is huge. His close control and dribbling are exactly what we’ve lacked against low blocks. I always wanted someone like Musiala to unlock tight defenses — Cherki is right up there and not forgeting Bobb. He’ll feed Haaland and the rest with ease. Once he’s in the side, teams won’t know whether to sit deep or press — we’ll be unpredictable and devastating. We will be impossible to defend against.

@bluemoon32 It genuinely looks like the club is addressing every weak point. If we land these targets, we’re going to be eating good for a long time. I’m thrilled with the direction — get all these players, in this window then we will keep on competing and dominating! It is not over yet if we bag these players!

yeah, was just reading up on him, sounds like he'll be a loss at least. Interesting timing, wonder if he has job lined up

I don’t know more than most but pretty sure I have a better idea than you. By yes man I presume you mean the DOF that built a team and squad that won the whole fucking lot breaking records galore as it went.
Nope the yes man is his assistant Mr. Know all. False answer already

People have and will continue to call players a hell of a lot worse. It's a bit cringe but what do you expect on twitter?

Just a weird thing to get your back up. And it was a bit of a "what the fuck am I reading" moment when I saw another poster mentioning it in the same sentence as "the N word."
Of course they will... To be honest the term just grates on me! But that's just a personal opinion to be fair

I'm only talking about that as not really seen much of the other word, which of course is a bigger issue

Shit happens and so far Arteta fucked up big style with no trophies at his beloved Gooners for how many years and apart from this season we`re on par with them no trophies between us. ;)
