He's 22 and for the CL he would need to have been at Chelsea for 3 years before the age of 21 to be classed as association trained. So he would have to take a foreign spot on list A (if I understand correctly).

He ain’t wrong with the term. It’s being used in a disrespectful way now on social media. Even though I don’t think exactly 30+ is old in football but more like 32+. With good nutrition I can see the average going to 34 soon
 
I’m assuming we want at least 2 in before the CWC. Reijnders and who else? Interesting to see who we prioritise.

I doubt Cherki is a priority (if the interest itself is even concrete) but his RC might make it an easy one to pull off if we want to.

Ait-Nouri? Gone quite a little bit after the initial links.

Garcia? Ederson would need to be moved on and that’s been quiet. Whether it’d be a domino effect, who knows.

MGW? Again, no real news on that in recent weeks aside from interest. I’d hazard a guess that he’s actually separate to Cherki and not a case of one or the other. Different profiles completely.

Cambiaso? Nothing since January.

Rodrygo? Nothing apart from that CityXtra article a few days ago. I’d assume we’d move for Cherki before him given the price.

Now I can sort of understand we had to wait to see if we were playing CL or EL but now that's confirmed you'd think we'd be ready to make some moves.

So when I read ' Manchester City have added the name of....' forgive me if I think it's BS.

It's not like Cherki is someone who's just crept up on us, is it???

I went to watch Monaco and Lyon and this midfielder came off the bench and caught my eye! Never heard of him before but looks decent!

A lot of supposed ITK post about certain players joining and everyone goes into ape shit mode

People need to also realise that City will release interest in a player falsely to help in price negotiations with our true targets.

If by "we" you mean the club, then yes. They'll have plans upon plans going forward a good few seasons with contingencies coming out of their ears.

Of course they don't communicate these plans outside of the club, so then you get posters on here who think we're letting other clubs get the drop on us whilst our team is on their jollies. And they seem to actually believe that...

What's the context it's being used in? You should post it.

In many ways 'Unc' means the experience of 'been before me/ them' as well as as a sign of respect for an elder. 'Unc' can be disrespectful depending on context/ sarcasm used.

Context matters.

You would think so but it hasn’t stopped us I don’t know if that is down to everyone knowing it’s rubbish maybe the charges where the punishment or a good explanation from the bosses to players special contract clauses or just being a good proposition for players
 
I imagine Hugo and Txiki have been busy telling the players who arent required over the last couple of days as we head towards our early transfer window opening?

Totally agree.
I'm very old, very grey and as a result very sceptical/cynical, to the point if my wife says get up it's lovely outside, I go and check!!!!!!!!!
