It's Quiet the £250m return

If only we were targeting a new midfield, fullbacks and creative player. we could do that. Shame.

Our best ever seasons were with Sane and Sterling wide with Walker and Mendy pushing on? My concern is Pep is now concerned with transition that he overthinks it hence the keep ball sideways tactics?
Don't disagree about Sane and Sterling, but Mendy only played 7 games that season he joined before he did his ACL

The following season, he played in 10 games at the start of the season before knackering his other knee.

I'm not sure how many games Mendy, Sane and Sterling even played together, as Pep said he had to change formation when he lost Mendy and we haven't had a proper, overlapping left back since (and for all Walker's efforts, he was more a decoy than a threat).

I'm sure our style will change, as it has evolved in the time Pep has been here so let's wait and see who we buy and how we look.

Why would he leave Liverpool as Second Choice to come to City as Second Choice? Seems to me, he wants to be a FIRST CHOICE keeper in the PL…and might even get his chance!
Who knows what will happen with Eddie was injured a lot and he had a few iffy moments but I can't see him staying long term I hope he does but Kelleher would offer him greater competition.

You’re not seeing the bigger picture, but that’s the norm here.

I’ll assume that’s rhetorical, because it’s too stupid to need a response. However, what were our results against that club over the last 13 months? ;-)
Not seeing the picture, thats fucking hilarious

What were our results against Chelsea in the last 13 months ?

The lack of top quality out wide will stop us winning the biggest trophies.
It's not our strongest position but between Foden, Marmoush, Doku and Savinho (and Bobb) we gave talent here at the club, those players are good enough on paper

Problem we've got is our style of play robs wingers of space, any winger would struggle with our slow pace build up

When we had a talent at the level of doue and yamal we did (remember foden?). Bobb was poised to have a breakthrough year. If they are good enough they will get their chance
Bobb would have probably played more last season had he not had his injury

Beside this season or let’s say the last 1/3 of the season donnarumma wasn’t that great.
Just shows that u need a couple crazy months and you will be on everyone’s list.

Leeds back for Kalvin Phillips. Fee would be between £8m-£10m.

Essentially a free transfer to pay up the remainder of his deal.
I think Leeds have cooled a little

Philupps having an Achilles operation, which will see him out until August, meaning he won’t get any pre-season minutes and Leeds might be cautious to move for an injured player.

They will when they know they can bide their time and get him cheaper and less risk with a loan deal.

Probably best we can hope is some buy clause, but no doubt it will only be if Leeds stay up.
