It's Quiet the £250m return

If Livramento is a no go do we change tact and go for Robinson on the left to add to the quota rather than Ait-Nouri?
Robinson and munoz would be lethal together with the amount of crosses they both put in.
Said a while back on here that these would be my chosen 2 full backs.

I’m based in Newcastle and there’s no appetite for letting Livramento go. I’m not sure where the story is coming from but he’ll cost Grealish money to shift him. MGW is a bizarre one for me. There has to be better than that available. Not sure why we’re not looking at that palace RB Munoz. He looks the deal to me.
Homegrown probably comes into it for MGW.

Fuck Forest. Obviously trying to take the piss and we are happy to play the long game.

Tbf they’re allowed to ask for whatever they want. He’s their player and they probably don’t want to sell him. Would you ask for something crazy for Rodri if someone wanted him or would you gift wrap him? They are not obliged to sell to us.

Ill take a wildcard guess at Djed Spence being scouted, even then i doubt that, they'll probably just run with Nunes/Akanji.

Wonder ever happened to that kid at Norwich who was linked with Bayern? Max Aarons?
Left field right backs I like Djed Spence thought he was one of the only players that came out with any credit for Spuds otherwise I like Lamptey - who can’t even get a game. Not likely to be the profile of player we would be looking at.

think his injury record will preclude him. Tidy player on his day though

No, but I suppose the player can agitate for a move if he really wants to go, and to make the decision not to sell as difficult as possible for his current club.

I don’t need that explaining to me mate, lol. Hence why I said we will be happy to play the long game. They paid circa £40mil for him so fully entitled to be asking over £80mil, but I’d guess they’ve probably quoted £100mil.

IF the player wants us then it’s one we will be happy to wait and see, it’s obvious we are going to have to overpay for the homegrown talent though.

I think this will be another Harry Kane situation.

It's a player we like, but we aren't going to overpay for a player that we don't feel is worth the price tag.

I wonder if that has anything to do with the Ederson rumors out of Brazil and Italy?
MGW is an 8/10
Ederson is. 6/8 - he is less creative than MGW - think more like Nigel Dejong but with some forward movement - dosnt look a great player to be honest...

I think as of now we have walked away in the hope he forces a move and we will look at other HG talents in the meantime.

It's up to him, but as it is, it's clear City aren't going to pay anywhere near what Forest want.
Rather sign Wharton if we need additional homegrown players

DJ Ed Spence sounds like the name of the world's most boring DJ. It would be a fella at a pensioner party night at a pub or something.

Yeah, but if you put the pure 10 with Cherki and then add in Ederson into that mix as the 8, it would start to make some sense that we could potentially get both these players who can cover more roles for the same price as MGW.

I’m based in Manchester and have no idea what the appetite is at City for certain players.
