I've always wondered about that, when it gets reported Pep has spoken with the player many times etc.. If we ask the club's permission to speak with the player first. I'd like to think we do, but I don't know one way or the other.

To be honest, lots of bollocks around as we know, pretty sure these things are always closer than reported and played out for the fans. As you say, we must have an indication of what fee is required, be wasting our time otherwise.
