Very excited about this season. Gvardiol will partner Dias, with Khusanov looking to be a good acquisition, a cracking attacking left back almost acquired and hopefully a right back. Rodri back who missed just about the whole of last season, with Gonzalez a bit more experienced, Reindeer to join, then Bobb will be like a new player, Cherki looks amazing, Marmoush for the full season and hopefully Phil over whatever was troubling him last season. I have high hopes for Echeverri. A fucking lot to look forward to.

I’d can the MGW deal, put the extra cash to the Livramento deal and promote Nico to that roll to be honest. Then sign Rodrygo ;-)

Cherki, Reijnders and Ait-Nouri is fantastic early business. I think the club have been excellent so far and delivered on their promise to right the wrongs of last summer.

Will be interesting to see who is in or out of the squad for the CWC and what players we are looking to move on. Further incomings will be reliant on clearing some space.

Khusanov, Reis, Marmoush, Echeverri, McFarlane, Bah, Gonzalez, Reijnders, Ait-Nouri and Cherki. That's a lot of business in 6 months and I wouldn't be surprised if that is the end of the incomings. I'd expect a similar number to now be on their way.

Further incomings reliant on clearing space? We need to move 3 on from the 17 list by the end of the summer, to register these 3! Not including Grealish McAtee, or Kev an Walker, who make mo difference.

But we are ok for the CWC as that allows a squad of 35.

I think livramento is only a deal if we are worried about HG players in the squad if that isnt a concern i think we look elsewhere.

Yeah I can agree with that mate, I hope we don’t hang around too long and nail the RB position asap. Livramento will from the Geordies be £100m plus so I can’t see him coming unfortunately but so far the transfer business has been excellent!
