Problem is that they know we really need a right back and Newcastle are in a position to not sell . I think we move on from this one .Yep, if the number goes as high as £80m then sure its too much but at lot depends on LIvramento. If he asks for the move then I can see Newcastle being willing to negotiate. The other side to it is do they want any of the players we're willing to offload or loan out. Weren't they interested in Grealish?

I feel another week like that coming up before they jet off to the CWC! 3 signings and Rodri renewal!

I wonder when squad lists need to be announced for the CWC.
If possible, I bet City would do some unveiling in the US to get all eyes on us and boost the PR.

Couple of medicals over the weekend.
Signings announced early next week.
Hopefully Rodri contract extension too.
Newcomers join up mid week after International duty.
Presumably fly off late next week.

Both good players right now Wirtz is better defensively in stats. But by stats Cherki is on another planet creatively.
