It's Quiet the £250m return

We could move either or both Akanji and Ake instead if it is required along with Kyle Walker. If the intention was to move Gundogan on we wouldn't have played him to trigger his clause for a new deal. And Kovacic was one of our better of performers last season and has earned that chance to stay.
Ake and Walker make no difference in making room on the free list of 17 which we will need to do.

Akanji too. If not we stick to what we have got at RB although it is a huge gamble in sticking with Nunes.
Don't know what we'll do at right back, but just to make room for the 3 that signed we have to make space and players like Bernardo, Gundogan, Kovacic, Akanji, seem the most likely candidates, probably at least 2 maybe 3 of them.

I agree that Kovacic was one of our better performers but we are stacked in midfield and Gundo and Kovacic are on the older side.

Not sure, but I believe Ake is homegrown. When he his fully fit can cover at left side of defence and full back. So I think we will keep him. Stones and maybe Akanji to go. (Add to them Walker, KDB, Nunes, and possibly Silva) that frees up spaces and loads of wages.

Kovacic's injury might prevent us from selling him, but he's the one I'd be shipping off. He had a good season in the context of the majority being absolutely miles off it. Whilst he was critical to us qualifying for the CL and getting to the FA Cup final he isn't anywhere near good enough to be a regular starter for us.

Not solely his fault, but his performance against PSG was a disaster and showed that whilst he can drift past players and keep things ticking against mid-table opposition he can't against the best sides.

If we were to keep only one of Gundogan, Bernardo and Kovacic - it would be Kovacic for me.

Over on rawk, the deluded dippers are suggesting that we seem to be signing their '2nd choices'

And as far as the fees we paid..............

"Cherki for £30m

Ait-Nouri for £31m

Fuck right off. Any other club would have had to pay double on both.

So underhand. At best I expect to see some peculiarly low cost signings for these two clubs from an Abu Dhabi sportwashing group club, or perhaps multi-million quid sponsorship deals for Lyon and Wolves from some obscure Abu Dhabi companies, being announced in the coming months"

Such sad and bitter fuckers

I love the notion that we readily bribe all the clubs we do business with, but none of them ever refuse said bribery, leak it to the media or inform the authorities.

I know the dippers are thick, but this really takes the biscuit.

Sportswashing is always the point in germany, why City isn‘t accept there.

Bernardo all day and every day for me. Younger, better, more consistent. I don't believe for a minute he's declined. His form is a result of the excessive football he's played. Get him rested and the little guy will be back to his best. He's also much more versatile than the others.

Yeah the German's I know all feel like we're a soulless club because of the Abu Dhabi investment. They can't separate the politics from the sport. I tell them I still haven't forgiven them for the two world wars as a reply - usually shuts the fuckers up.
