It's Quiet the £250m return

For arguments sake, let's presume City would have gone to £100m for Wirtz?

Factoring we paid then £112m for three players, two of which were definitely coming, anyway?

It's not beyond the realms, City has the best part of £140m still to play with, which would tally with the £250m kitty I had been told.
Just a shot in the dark but I’m pretty sure it was going to be
Wirtz, MGW and Wesley
It was was going to change our whole resource allocation

Have a strong feeling that the way we have moved this season from Jan to now is something we have never ever seen before.

The fact we got 4 players in Jan and got a superstar in Marmoush a player everyone wanted and we just paid the money.

The way we got 3 players in the shortest window and all for the most amazing prices.

Tells me Hugo is no joke. Signing Pep Linjders and other back room staff from rivals. He’s just on a different level.

Something tells me he’s not done and he’s going it be just as swift with outgoings (thank goodness) and he’ll surprise us once again.

This could be the greatest window of all time.
A hall of fame performance for a DOF

I'll believe Bernardo is going when he actually goes. There is noise with him just about every offseason. He will probably stay put. I mean he struggled to adapt to Manchester. I can't imagine he will rock up in Turkey.
Not being funny but Bernardo has not only embraced Manchester but embraced the UK culture.
I don't know about recently but certainly in the past he has posted stuff about going to the Lake district, Blackpool, Wales, Scotland..
To say he struggled to adapt is way off the mark.

Other clubs will know we have to get rid of players & will low ball us for transfer fees, we'll probably have to practically give them away to get them off the books
That’s fine though, pretty sure we won’t care too much on outgoing fees this summer in order to clear the decks.

Not from a financial view, more squad quotas, yes.

Those players were always going.

I still can't reconcile Ederson not going, especially into his final year.

Makes zero sense running his deal down to wait for Saudi, as they aren't arsed about saving £20m on a fee.
Unless he’s picking up the ‘fee’ in 12months time?

Hope we spend it on proven RB

walking his dog in his jamas like a scruffy bastard, he was truly one of us.

So go big for livramento (maybe £70m) and then let gibbs white fee drop a bit (maybe £55mif that’s not completely dead
Still leaves maybe £40m for Costa if Ederson leaves
I’m guessing rodrygo ain’t happening then??

We really need a few Saudi bids now for the likes of bernado, Ederson, Nunes and kovacic
Or convince Grealish to go there

Sounds like the deal for Costa is ready to go as soon as ederson deal is sorted

Can't imagine grealish would go there as there's no pubs

If Ederson sits it out for a year but, Ortega goes, I wonder if we bring Costa in this summer?

Yep, saying Bernardo has "struggled to adapt" is quite a bizarre claim.

Wait until the poster finds out about Nolito!

Grealish to Saudi is a good shout. I think I have a problem with £70 mill for a full back. £58 million is the most ever spent on a right back for Hakimi. Livramento is worth about £40 million max unless we are desperate which I don’t think we are.
