It's Quiet the £250m return

Doyle has been seen as a better prospect than Quansah throughout all the age groups and has shown nothing to change that. it's madness there could be that much difference in potential transfer fees. Another example of how cheaply we sell off talent. Of all the recent academy talent we've sold, Only palmer has gone for more than Quansah.

Hopefully Viana changes things with sales values of our academy kids.. it's like everyone lowballs us when valuing our talent but expects us to overpay!

I've been banging on about it for a while now, people are happy to see us top up the coffers with a handful of £10-15m sales of players each year and ignore the fact they are worth much more than that if anybody else was selling them.

The city academy is held in high esteem now. There's a prestige to it, for players to say they've come through the city academy means something. you immediately think top quality technical players, it's comparable to la masia now and as such that should enable us to stick on an extra city academy tax just as barca do with their graduates yet we are still not selling them at similar levels to others nevermind adding a bit on top.

Its one of a very few things we've been poor at in recent years and hopefully the new higher ups target it as an easy to accomplish area of improvement. there's a lot more money to be made than the good amount we already bring in.

Ask rival fans and they say how do city get what they get for academy kids who don’t play

Rival fans always say how do we sell people who won’t play for as much as we do

That's because they haven't heard of them due to not being fans of us. We know better and are aware of how highly talented a lot of these players are. we're now seeing them excel elsewhere and seeing their values sky rocket.

Quansah has actually played plenty of games for the league champs that's the difference he has played in what 50 odd matches for Liverpool at the age of 22 and he was actually vvd partner going into last season meanwhile Doyle hasn't kicked a ball in any top division.

One played PL the other didn’t. Palmer was sold for a big amount alone for that too.

He's started 17 times for them in the league in total at the age of 22 and don't forget he was thrown in out of neccesity due to injuries not because he had broken through. He featured less times for Liverpool in the league last season than James Mcatee did for us. He'd be on the bench behind Harwood-bellis for England u-21's right now if he was fit who we let go for less than half what quansah is going for.

We do need to sort the goalkeeper situation out. Ederson has a year left we can’t go into the new season with a keeper with 12 months on his deal. If he doesn’t want to sign a new contract then hopefully after the club World Cup we can get a fee and a replacement.

I do find it interesting that Diogo Costa isn’t with Porto for the club World Cup.

I have no idea, so not being 'funny'....but who sees Doyle as a better prospect? I haven't taken alot of notice of either, but one has played (not too often, granted) for Liverpools first team.....the other on loan in the championship, not at one of the 'promotion candidates' , and Leicester who got promoted, for whatever reason, didn't want him in the PL? ......so I can see the price tag difference.
