It's Quiet the £250m return

Quansah has actually played plenty of games for the league champs that's the difference he has played in what 50 odd matches for Liverpool at the age of 22 and he was actually vvd partner going into last season meanwhile Doyle hasn't kicked a ball in any top division.

He started 4 league games for them all season.

Came on against Villa and got 1 minute, came on against us and didn't even manage a minute, came on against Southampton and got 1 minute, came on against Spurs and got 3 minutes...

Didn't play "plenty of games" for them

He was 1st choice after pre season but had a complete mare in the first game and lost his spot and couldn't get it back in the team. He is an important part of the current champions squad and they will demand a fee that reflects that. I personally think he is too soft to be a top premier league defender but will do well in Germany is Doyle better i honestly can't say but if you compare their CVs quansah is worth alot more.

He's started 17 times for them in the league in total at the age of 22 and don't forget he was thrown in out of neccesity due to injuries not because he had broken through. He featured less times for Liverpool in the league last season than James Mcatee did for us. He'd be on the bench behind Harwood-bellis for England u-21's right now if he was fit who we let go for less than half what quansah is going for.
He was first choice going into the season and had a train wreck of a first game and wasn't trusted after that. I'm simply stating his value is higher for the record I'm a fan of Doyle thought he would be given a shout here.

He got subbed off at half time in the first game and never got his place back, he wasn't even close to getting it back tbh. I think you're definitely over egging the pudding describing him as an important part of the dippers squad.

Any new player needs to be English. Are there any very good English players? Or are they all just goodish?

Seems a bit of contradiction important but not important after preseason and having a poor first game

Clearly wasn't an important part when they gave him 1 minute here and 3 minutes there mate haha

There‘s like 5 obvious ones who could be interesting.
Braithwaite and guehi. Problem is that CB position is the most stacked and doesn’t need new addition for years if everything goes well.

Wharton: his position sadly blocked by Nico Gonzalez transfer. Like he makes no sense.
MGW: same as Wharton. Would only make sense if we get rid of 3 CM. ( the older trio )
Livramento: the only one who makes sense right now but the most unrealistic one.

There are other interesting ones like Trafford but he is not good enough on the ball for pep. Other than this guys I have no idea. Beside Livramento there is no HG player who is a current MUST- HAVE. All good additions though

Doyle has been seen as a better prospect than Quansah throughout all the age groups and has shown nothing to change that. it's madness there could be that much difference in potential transfer fees. Another example of how cheaply we sell off talent. Of all the recent academy talent we've sold, Only palmer has gone for more than Quansah.
Neither player has been sold yet so I'm not sure why you're getting your knickers in a twist over this. Unless you really put your faith in twatter of course?

Quansah may or may not go for €30m (Euros, not Sterling) plus possible add-ons, Doyle will probably be similar although his lack of pace may affect that and the level he plays at in the future.

My two most hated sayings in football are "Can do a job" & "Put a shift in". How much more Fat Sam, Dave Bassett, Neil Warnock & Stuart Pearce can you get?

Both phrases scream mediocrity & settling for a mend & make do philosophy. In just 90 minutes, Ait Nouri showed the difference between a specialist & a "Can do a job" type player.

Night & bleedin day...
Depth is key.
