It's Quiet the £250m return

Reis is the likely one to move to Girona along with Echiverri. Khusanov has an outside chance of making it in Pep's final season at CIty. KDB is trying to persuade Napoli that Grealish could really add something in their set up (ignore his off field issues he can actualy succeed in the Serie A).

Van de Ven would be a good fit but he doesn’t possess Kompany’s leadership qualities and Spurs would want an obscene fee for him.
Van De Ven has been on the clubs radar for a while.

I mentioned it last summer. We are monitoring his progression.

2nd June 2024

It’s not a case of leaning towards English lads. These are just two English lads the club feel like they should monitor for obvious reasons.

Same way the club are keeping a close eye on the development of Van De Ven.’

utterley ridiculous loaning out the new guys. should be the old heads fucked off and this made a transition season. relying on the injury prone past it players is exactly what we did last season.

VDV seriously?? Not convinced as a defender and on top of that he does have injury concerns. I still stick by who we have on our books.

The "old guys" are still in their prime. Khusanov is the one who is going to stay, who to be honest looks the more convincing out of the promising defenders,

We won’t be relying on injury prone players from last season you are just making that up. Still think Gundogan and Kovacic will go. That doesn’t mean to make enough room and make sure they get plenty of football we shouldn’t loan Reis and Echeverri.
Almost like if you think about it more than one thing can happen and be beneficial.Probably why we employ highly successful professionals and not angry internet posters.

our defence is most of our problems when pep keeps insisting on a suicidal high line in a defence with no pace whatsoever
The issues seem to stem from Pep's set up. That can simply be improved upon if we take our chances. The current defensive personnel isn't a major issue including Gvardiol

He's lightning and strong in the air, but yeah, injury concerns. Position-wise I think we'd be interested if Ake was going, but again that would be a foreign player in and an HG out, so awkward to manage on it's own.

We still have pace in our defence. Organisation maybe is something to be worked upon but even last season we aren't far off from being competitive.

A pretty big drop off in the amount of goals we scored is a huge factor in how we finished too.

It’s barely any higher than Liverpools or Arsenals high lines so that isn’t a thing. Its also no higher than the high lines that we won everything with.it’s all a out pressing off the ball , we saw in the CWC how much better we can be at that in spells, especially when Rodri was the pitch. Once these new players have got used to each other the press and our defensive line will be fine just as it was previously.
Unless you are one of those just picking out negatives from the CWC , like ahandfull on here. Not saying you are.

Being outside of England could be really beneficial for Grealish
