It's Quiet the £250m return

I love Nunes, and he has improved but I think if it comes to getting a Non HG player, Nunes has to leave to accommodate a right back. Nunes will cost us in the big games against the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal, Barcelona and Real Madrid. He's tenacious, quick, hard working and he's done well, but he's brainless at times and it does cost us in the big games, for example in the Manchester Derby. Can't keep papering over the cracks with "do a job" players for a position. PSG's full backs won them the CL because they locked up players like Salah. Can't take risks with full back options. It's the most important signing we will make for a good few years if we get a top quality RB.

Is it though? We've already signed four players, have any other PL clubs signed more?

Outgoings need to happen, for sure, but it's not as if the league is rife with transfer activity and we're sitting on our hands.
And it’s mid July. The winsow closes in early September
Is this the earliest recorded flapping in the history of this forum?

O' Reilly plays, gain Peps trust and they'll play, if not they'll make money for us.
To be fair is that because of injury? We’ve also just signed a left back so chances are Oreily might actually get less game time next season

Let’s be honest our record with young academy players is terrible. Doesn’t really seem to matter how talented they are

If room has to be made, I'd rather ditch the other non HG players ahead of him.. like Kova, Akanji, even Gundo.

Jack wouldn’t be able to handle Saudi mate imo unless the rich and famous have a way of getting even a few beers from somewhere?
There have been reports of a very limited number of alcohol licenses being issued to non-Muslim diplomats and for select venues like luxury hotels and resorts, primarily to cater to tourists.

I know this is the case in other Muslim countries in the area but having never been, and will never go, I don’t know how true it is.

That may help a move then as no doubt they would pay Jack a fortune to go there and we may get £50m plus

I am hoping and logical it makes sense too - there should be a big market for all 4-peat winning players already for clubs finishing 8th or lower.

Akanji, Ake Stones Grealish McAtee all are serial winners and bring all of experience and quality to lower and middle positioned teams. I am surprised no one is lining up for these players.

Newcastle - Grealish
Forest - McAtee
Everton - Stones
Bournemouth - Ake
Any of Brentford/Villa/Palace could do with Akanji
Just the little issue of remuneration!!!

Newcastle closing in on Ekiitie from Frankfurt which is probably going to mean only one thing unfortunately :-(
