It's Quiet the £250m return

Mukasa isnt even starring games for EDS

How many did O'Reilly and Foden start for the EDS?

Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think it was that many.. Sometimes you just know.

Compare this to Carlos Borges who was a standout star but.. (and look now).

Why are we ignoring our own kids?

Mukasa and McAidoo should be given a pathway to the first team along with a few others especially as we're looking for creative players.
There's always a pathway. Its the same as always, train well, Perform, impress pep and show yourself to be a better option than what we've got. Do that and you'll always get an opportunity.

Pep threw in a 17 year old midget Rico Lewis and put his whole gameplan in key must win games around him after he did exactly that, so theres no truth to the suggestions pep doesnt give kids a chance. They get what they deserve he just doesnt hand out freebies which is completely correct.

What have these kids done to give any indication they're ready to perform for a side whose aim is to win every competition they enter?

Mukasa and McAidoo/Heskey should do a proper EDS year.

Then we can see if we have need of new wingers to mold in if Savinho or Doku aren't working out to let those 2 try.

And Mukasa for the eventual reality of losing all 3 of Gundogan, Bernie and Kovacic.

We have had one player come through the EDS/yout set up that has proven he can mix it with the big boys at the very top. (Many have cmoe through and gone on elsewhere to do very well) and that is Foden. Jury still out on Nico OReilly (but in his actual position - no.10) is he ever really going to get game time with us?
Rico Lewis is a step below what we need...he could go on to have a decent career in the prem but he just isnt elite level
The others..McAtee, JSP for instance will also go onto have good careers but again they wont be elite players.

If Trafford wants to go to the World Cup as the young number three gaining experience. He needs to be first choice wherever he goes.
I reckon he and any other goalkeeper would risk missing out on not playing at all at a World Cup to challenging for the number 1 at a club challenging for the title, not to mention I think he supports us

Trafford for us would be a win win, English, plays out and is a decent shot stopper. Cannot call Ederson but we need to move on.

He's got so much potential he's 6ft 6 he's also bulked up since being at Burnley. He's huge in net, also is able to play out from the back, comfortably. He also wants to be the number one here

And yet we don’t seem interested. Is he better than Ortega?

Might not be interested as the two goalies we have now would like to see out their contract. Can't bring Trafford in when both are still here. He can be he looks to have the potential to be a very good keeper. His save style reminds me of Joe Hart the way he makes himself big when coming out of net.

He would probably prefer going to the World Cup and replacing Pickford over sitting on our bench and not challenging for a title. Unless we boot Ederson he has no reason to come.

No way he replaces Pickford currently. If he goes WC as likely 3rd choice that would be unaffected with his potential role at City.
Ederson gone in 12 months so would be silly to miss out on him, assuming good enough, a point I have no idea about

Who's this we? Both are only 17 for starters (McAidoo just, at that) and what makes you think they don't have a pathway to our 1st team? They still have to earn it.

Could we buy him and loan him out till we make a decision on Ederson or Ortega after this season?
