It's Quiet the £250m return

Think we worried about our squad number! You looked at Chelsea squad size last season they didn’t still give a toss went out and bought the players they wanted!

I would just spend the 110/120m on Livamento and Trafford brings in two home grown players as well!

No mate, i wake up every morning jump in the sauna and hot tub with my kids before they go to school, have a nice leisurely breakfast and then come into my business for the day. I also though comment on a football forum about potential things that seriously strengthen our rivals if thats ok?

Absolutely fine if that's what makes you happy.

Worrying about something that you absolutely have no control over just seems a waste of energy to me , although you get full marks for enthusiasm !

If this is the case then presumably Pep will not be doing 2 years. I mean what would be the point in keeping the old guard for one year then starting the rebuild.

Good point and maybe the question asked whats the point for Pep to do one more year if the same happens?

There's so much dead wood in this squad and yet we're looking to continue shipping off our best academy graduates.

Great work. Makes you proud of your club.

Reports have been denied. Stop flapping.

And the 'deadwood' as you describe them one us four titles in a row and treble.

The disrespect that some City fans on here have for these players.

Sounds like a Palmer situation. Wants first team minutes. Could see Bobb asking to go on loan as well to get first team minutes

Would be really shit and short-sighted if we let O’Reilly go. He’s going to be fucking amazing, with all the physical attributes to be a top midfielder in the PL.

Chelsea registered different players in the Conference to the league because it was the Conference. Won't be doing that in the Champions League, or at least we won't be.

There are so many ways this can play out

OR leaves permanently, hopefully with a buy back (learn from Palmer mistake) but the old guard stay

OR leaves but so do Kova and Gundo but then our midfield is left light.

OR stays but the old guard leaves

OR is in the same situation as Rico tho why isn’t Rico leaving ? Why is he getting a contract ?

I’m more comfortable with Rico leaving than OR, one is 6’3, long legs, can get a goal, left footed, strong and got a burst of pace the other is good in tight spaces but gets easily bullied and hardly gets any g/a.

I just doesn’t make sense why young hungry players leave and players who have more experience but less ability stay.

Since we’ve had ample evidence of who Pep will play then i’d rather see OR, Echeverri, Reis, Khusonov, even Bobb go elsewhere and gets the game time they deserve instead of rotting on the bench while Pep’s favourites play ahead of them.

We currently need to move on 4 senior players. I get that we can sign more first, the two don't have to happen in order. But any more coming in at any category, means we then have to move 5, 6 players on.

Think till there are outgoings, we won't see any further signings. If then.

News in Turkey is that Gundo and Ederson are going Galatasaray. Turkey journalist that has said this is good for Galatasaray news.

Mustafa Sangar is the journalist.

: "İlkay Gündoğan's brother and agent are in Istanbul to finalize the details of the player's transfer to Galatasaray with a two-year contract. It is the perfect timing to join the Turkish club now."

Every player becomes obsolete eventually whether they have won everything or nothing.

Whether using the term ‘deadwood’ is appropriate is another discussion but those players we are referring to despite their many successes need to be moved on if we are to move forward.

Starting the rebuild? What is it 7 in since January
This was based on the idea that Pep is going to play the old guard one more year until their contracts expire. I have no idea if that's the case. But if so then .... ..as above

All the news in Turkey is Ederson and Gundo something must be going on. Fenerbahce now in for Ederson

Regardless of the ceiling for O’Reilly and any other youngster, I’m not sure they currently have more ability than ‘yesterday’s men’.
Whilst I agree change needs to happen I think we should all be mindful of just what these guys won and how, and put a little respect on the names.

WOW - "Peps favourites" .... i still get surprised, from some so called City fans, even after all these trophy laden years :-(
