It's Quiet the £250m return

That was much the same for David Silva when he wore our shirt, though put him in Spanish red and it was somehow different. Never understood that.
It changed eventually and he started to score more for us. I think he is something like 3rd highest scorer for Spain. He scored 10 or more for Spain in no less than 7 seasons.
Last four seasons for City: goals: 4, 9, 6, 6.

My personal feeling on recent activity are:

Sav - has made it clear he wants more game time...doesnt feel like he is up for the battle to get a starting spot.....spurs have put a low ball offer in (now surprise there). City have told them to do one but will be willing to sell if the right offer comes in.

Romano and other online cockroaches have gotten wind of this and then started to just to connect dots - City for Rodrygo - pushed by an agent through Romano. I wouldnt be opposed to us getting Rodrygo as he is a very good player but I dont want any of that Galactico shit attitude brought with him.

Ederson - his head isnt totally with us - we have known this for a while. However he is the best keeper at present for our system and unless that system changes then that remains a fact. However we could see a change in system...there has been more evidence that Pep is looking to change how we are playing and the employment of Pep Mk 2 seems to fuel this. Hence we bring in Trafford. Now for me keeping Eddie and integrating Trafford and then letting Eddie go next summer is the ideal scenario and maybe the club were thinking that. However Galatasary have maybe through the media/agents etc let it be known they want Ederson (Ive said before though that this seems a strange move for him - if it was to the Saudi Pro league to go and earn generational wealth then I could understand it..he has won everything he is going to win) - but to Galatasary? Unlike Gundo he has no connection there whatsoever and yes he may well win that league but so what?

So again is all the Donarumma stuff just the club acting quickly on an opportunity or is it again just agent/Romano driven to drive a narrative that ultimately just pays them money whatever the outcome...(city get Donurumma or we get gazzumped by Utd - both outcomes just are potential huge clickbait)

The latest talk seems to be that City are happy to keep Ederson but if he wants to leave they would be in the market for another keeper (we know Ortega isnt ultimately good enough and Bettanelli is just taking the role as chearleader left but Scott Carson)

In other news:

McAtee looks forest bound for 30m+

I think the Rico Lewis news is just clickbait and zero to it.

All in all we still need a right back more than anything.
Id agree with large sections of this tbh. An excellent analysis. Romano gets his info from Agents - he pays them, he earns off the clicks and its important for him for the merry go round to keep rolling.

The keeper situation is perfectly encapsulated here. I do worry for the weekend where Ederson's head is at and tbh I would start James Trafford at Wolves. Eddie's not really been there for a significant time and was nowhere near his level last season, even when he was fit. And as for the Right Back spot - its currently a shitshow and we arent competing at the business end of the Prem or CL if we are rolling out Nunes or Rico there.

Probably time to sell Cherki. A paltry one goal and one assist in 5 games is, let’s not beat about the bush, disappointing. Why even bother with a first season?…
We got him cheap so a profit is certain.
We could buy Donna and sell him on in this window.

By no idea, it means it doesn't make sense. Seeing as it makes sense to you, perhaps you can give me the benefit of your wisdom... I'll wait.
My wisdom tells me not to berate the club if I don’t know what is happening behind the scenes.

It also tells me I cannot predict the future.

Your wisdom is to concede you have no idea what is going on and go ahead berating the club and thinking you know how the season is going to pan out without a ball being kicked.

Mmmmh

I have to agree. You can't have social media rumour and fan conjecture being used as fact sticks to beat the club with, especially as a supporter, and especially a club that has been the most successful in the land; it's just bloody weird.

Your not alone with this thought lol

Don’t know if Tolmie is joking but does make sense

It does. Perhaps we all need to realign our expectations when Gaughan etc is reporting now.

Romano is the man now.

Local media reporting no one has spoke to Ederson etc, I’m not having it.

This summer is massively different in terms of how public all of our transfer business seems to be. 2+2 would suggest Viana in and suddenly Fabrizio knows everything alleged detail.

Yeah I don’t think English media get anything from us anymore

berrada used to have Ornsteins line. Txiki had Jack Gaughan, Viana has come in and linked up with Fabrizio.

Whatever the case. Interesting summer. Wonder if amongst all this noise is any consideration for a right back or if they’re okay going in with Rico Lewis and Nunes

Thought it was well known that Fabrizio was the mouthpiece of Viana at Sporting? No place else I would have heard that, so one of you fuckers has mentioned it before.

The way we are moving I really wouldn’t be surprised with Right Back links next week.
Unless someone seriously bids for Lewis or Nunes I don’t think so, imo.

Not sure how valid the bid for Rico Lewis was. But long way to go.
