But we’d also have a squad of 26-27 players, so routinely, 7 or so players would not be on the bench, which Pep doesn’t like.

He's going to Roma isn't he? They are just ironing out a deal with no buy option because Roma offered that. City wanted him to go on loan to Girona but Echeverri/his camp were keen on a loan to Roma, which is good I suppose.

Was hoping he’d become the next Odegaard, will be interesting to see how he gets on at Boro. Hopefully absolutely smashes that league and comes back to play for us.

In terms of Scandinavian midfielders he is more of a Kim Källstrom type of talent rather than Ødegaard. Will have a good career though

Yep - hes apparently "injured" so not playing tomorrow.

In reality both players are about to be sold so no point risking injury with them, or even playing them when their minds are clearly already out of the door
