Leverkusen also interested in Akanji?
Not much space for him at the moment. I agree with you. I just expect we'll kick around if he's available. Once a big club snatches him up, we can say goodbye forever.Right so the only place for Rogers is wide left in the front 3. Highly unlikely we buy him to stick him out there. Guess we’ll see in the next week.
YesThis guy?
Yep but seems we're interested in Rodrygo so that's why it wouldn't surprise me.We were interested in Eze before signing Cherki and Marmoush.
No need for Morgan Rogers, he’s had one good season. Let’s see how he kicks on.
Rodrygo is best around the net because its hard to read which direction he's going. Can hit it well with both feet and his body movements are unpredictable. Wasted on the far right.I think Rogers is a top class player. I wouldn't compare him to Rodrygo. I have always thought of Rodrygo as a wide forward whereas Rogers is a ball carrying midfielder. Rogers makes the kind of runs that Reijnders made in making that run for the 1st goal at Wolves.
How many times do I have to say that a player "operating best from the right" does not mean on the touchline as a RW. I'm referencing them as a #10 with a right side bias. Which Foden clearly has. He much prefers cutting in and shooting with his left foot from the right side. Just said this a couple posts up lol. I have not seen enough of Cherki but most people i speak with say he also has a right side bias. May change in our squad as he's good with both feet, who knows. Not really true is it? Cherki and Fodens best football has been as a 10.

Ye neither coming off the bench at Wolves could be a sign although it could have been Pep wanting to see some of the younger lads instead as we were coasting. Big 10 days or so to go :-)Yeah feel like they’ve been asking and players Gundo and Akanji have been waiting to see how they fit in with team plans
One thing thats interesting about this season is if Arsenal do not win anything does Saka start to look elsewhere? I didn't realise but next summer he's only got 1 year left on his deal.
Good point this. Rodri now is not Rodri then. He was seriously underwhelming in his first season. He either wised up or was coached up, or most likely, both. Don’t misunderstand me, I love Rodri but Zubamendi has a lot to do to get to Rodri’s level. I don’t see any evidence of Arsenal coaching much above corners and falling down..Zubamendi is another Rodri before Pep and Lilo moulded him into the Ballon d’or Rodri, a good player and he’ll be good for them . Can Arteta and his coaches turn him into that level that Rodri reached though ,I very much doubt it.
Also suspect Gyokeres isn’t going to be that great for them.
Tolmie has posted a London Boys video on X.

My comment from June might just come true then.I'll have a wild stab at akanji to leverkusen
Zubimendi is their best signing. He is much better than Declan Rice.
Probably do well as a CB for us lolRice is an odd one. Not a number 6, despite being signed as one for huge money and then plaudits come in for him as a number 8 given more freedom to get forward. But compare him to Reijnders or what we would expect from an 8 and he is miles off it. Lots of energy but not a huge amount more.
Yeah, they (on paper anyway) have a squad that should be winning the league. After FOUR goes at it now, if Arteta falls short he could be in trouble. One thing thats interesting about this season is if Arsenal do not win anything does Saka start to look elsewhere? I don't think their squad is anywhere near as good as ours.Yeah, they (on paper anyway) have a squad that should be winning the league. After FOUR goes at it now, if Arteta falls short he could be in trouble.
Clearly wrong ha ha hes no where City's LevelWell, I believe we were interested in Eze and Rodyrgo in the past year and most tactico pages would say Rogers is a clear step up on them. Also, he's English, and just turned 23 last month. Pep will love his profile. He's in the top 1% of ball-carriers, but also gets back and occupies defensive spaces so well. Also has a great final ball while being extremely physical. Plays AM but also LW. Similar player to Musiala. I give him a year and he'll be getting an 80-110m pound move easy. I also expect him to be an important player for England sooner rather than later.
Was great last year. 4G+2A in Champions league, and 8+10 in the PL. Super impressive for an AM who does it all. Especially for his age.
good post, but clearly wrong.
No way. The only place I see him looking at is Madrid and they are full up.One thing thats interesting about this season is if Arsenal do not win anything does Saka start to look elsewhere? I didn't realise but next summer he's only got 1 year left on his deal.
He’s a solid midfield player who always gives 100 per cent. A bit like James Milner was at his peak. Nothing wrong with that but he is not a £100m player….then again very few are truly worth that.Rice is an odd one.
