Doesn't seem to make much sense to me, either from our perspective or the player's.
If we signed him, we'd have 2 very young keepers without a huge amount of high-level experience and both would want/expect to be starters.
That’s the sort of player I expected us to be linked to as an Ortega replacement if Trafford was seen as an outright no 1
I don’t think Belgium’s number 3 is going to want to sit on the bench. I think he is their number 2 now with that other GK withdrawing from the national team

If we’ve walked from Donna, would we go back in the summer for a free which was reported to be our initial plan? It’s clear the wages aren’t an issue so we’d happily have him here.
If that happens and we are still looking means Eddie & Ortega are gone, which seems very likely.
I can’t see a change in the clubs plans that much, we wanted Trafford and Donna either this year or next. It won’t be Trafford and Lammens for the foreseeable future. Maybe if Trafford truly cemented himself as 1 this year. For me if it happens it would be a buy and sell for profit job in a year when Donna is available - which I think wouldn’t happen anyway.

Decent with Belgium players shit with everything else. That's how I look at him as a source.

I'd feel very uncomfortable if at the end of the window James Trafford and the Belgian number 3 are our two main goalkeepers.
He said that KDB had agreed to sign with Inter Milan, but that was nonsense. He is not familiar with Belgian players either.
To be fair I think Trafford could excel but definitely a different option to Trafford /Eddie or Trafford/Donna
Personally I think it’s bs . Maybe we’ve scouted - we scout a lot. Maybe we are being used by his agent as one of the biggest clubs in the world and trying to get a GK already

No Rodrygo? Fine, perhaps he's too much work but if we don't get Donnarumma, I'm going to start massively doubting Viana. Best GK in the world who is 26yo throwing himself at us but 40-50mil Euros for that is 'too much' and because 32yo Ederson who is way past his prime 'still isn't sold'? Give me a break!
