Probably correct but it could if we really showed the ambition Bruce I think all of the above players would leap like salmon to play for us leaving it a question of money with clubs.

The PSR headroom at city with Savinho, Doyle, McAtee and others leaving must be immense

You know I wouldn't mind another forward or CB who's very good with his heading ability since we seem to only prioritize who are good with their feet. That'll allow us to pick up some points where we usually don't.

I don't know why we have waited this long to push players like Akanji and Gundo out. Both have been great servants but it was obviously time for them to go in May. Why it has taken the club this long to move Ederson on a player who has been jonesing for a move for two years now. and the fact we can't make a decision on Savinho is just troubling and represents larger problems within the organization, and has now put us behind the 8 ball and kind of shrugging our shoulders as to what we want to do.

Tbf if we can't work out any tactics that don't require the best ball-playing keeper ever I'm not surprised we've always delayed replacing ederson

But they have had a year to figure this out.

It was known he was looking to leave over a year ago, and you weren't offering him an extension and he only had a year left on his deal going into this year. You knew he was looking to leave, and they seemingly have had no plan in place, and may get lucky that Donnarumma became available, but if this dudes head is already out the door, what was the plan for this season?

Exactly! Eddie has checked out already so get a deal done and get Donnarumma in asap. The club has lost its fear factor now and the tactics have been worked out by even sub standard teams! Reijnders will be top drawer , Cherki is obviously talented by will never be KDB , Trafford needs time under a world class goalkeeper, we need Rodrygo and a right back asap.

I think you're right. But I would add that we need a workhorse in midfield too. MGW would have been a good signing. A lot of Spurs' ability to out-muscle us would have been negated in this department. You win the midfield battle and you can then sustain attacks and pressure. An MGW keeps us in a tight, attritional battle which then allows the flair players to play.

But yes could do with a RB.. Rico's fault today he didn't see any urgency till it was too late.

If we want a keeper that's good with his feet.. you give Eddie 400k a week or whatever he wants! Donnarumma is not the answer.. infact he's worse off with his feet than Trafford.

FFS Even Enrique is trying to get a better keeper with his feet.

It’s not the money with Ederson though? If it was he wouldn’t be prepared to go to Turkey? He wants a lifestyle change and then the shit he and his wife got online from fans after the CWC has seemingly made his mind up to leave. Rodrygo is better than Bobb currently and world class players produce world class moments? Sometimes as well, the opposition seeing world class names on a team sheet affects their mentality and I’m sure that Spurs players weren’t scared of Lewis at full back? We used to have Kyle Walker FFS and haven’t replaced him?

I'm not even sure they are City fans. If you read rawk, they say they're on twitter posting malicious comments at our players while pretending to be City fans.

But maybe he's just sick of being underpaid. That's on City though as Allison is on a bigger contract and yet Ederson has 6 PL's.

Livramento and Wharton we could get if the bid is high enough. If we want to expand our list outside of the prem and sign a KDB sure thing player then we’re looking at Pedri or Valverde
 
After Trafford we’ve just been focusing on the outgoings, luckily the Spurs game gave us a reality check early enough. Viana has his work cut out for him
