It's Quiet the £250m return

If Savio isn't done by tomorrow night, not a chance does he get sold.

No way do we get Rodrygo over the line in 3 days. Too many hands involved that want a pay day.

I really hope City don't sell Savio and call it a day at that.

I don’t want Savio to go—I’d personally like him playing on the left—but at this point, I think he’s gone. We’ll sell, and I doubt the club hasn’t already done the legwork on Rodrygo or whoever is lined up to replace his position or squad role. I’m hoping we get a high scoring winger, not another project player, but right now I can’t think of anyone available at the top level.

I’m pretty certain if Savinho gets sold we won’t sign anybody in that position, I’m not saying it’s right or wrong. It’s just easy to predict at this point.

Sounds like we would be facilitating a liverpool move for guehi.
May end uo costing us a lot more than the 15m we would get

This…not sure why people think Guehi would come to us where we’ve actively loaned players out to reduce the back line squad numbers.

Should be looking elsewhere to offload Akanji, so at the very least not to hand over Guehi to the Scousers on a platter.

Thank God this place is here then.

I struggled like hell through a divorce about 6 years ago and admitted as such on here. Got loads of support and I second your sentiment about this online community. It's a remarkable place.

Incredibly brave thing to share, and nothing sad about it at all. It's often the first thing I do when I get up, make a brew and have a read of this forum.

As other have said, always reach out; so many good folk on here to chat with.

All the best, mate.

That is quite true, and I have noticed that although we sometimes readily shit on each other over ultimately meaningless comments, when push comes to shove and people genuinely open up even a little bit, there is a willingness to help and support without judgement and pettyness.

Just this week a poster has been encouraging and helpful to me when I needed it, and this after I was a prick to them.

So reaching out is definitely encouraged.

By this time next year we could conceivably be without Akanji, Aké & Stones. In that respect, getting Guéhi now & selling Akanji and/or Aké this window would make perfect sense.

we will not be signing guehi we will just be helping the dippers sign him .We have 2 young defenders on loan that will return next season. I also think given a choice which he has he would choose lfc he'd be first choice cb pairing with vvd

By this time next summer, we could be without Stones, Akanji & Aké, with Reis & Bah to return. This still means we have the capacity to get Guéhi this window. Marc also covers a HG spot too.

At this stage it looks like it’s only really outgoings and Donnarumma.

We’re either keeping Ederson or we get Donnarumma.

Akanji looks like he’s going to either Galatasaray, Palace or Leverkusen.

Gundogan is tentatively linked to the Bundesliga.

Ortega will likely go but no concrete moves.

Savinho is wanted by spurs but our supposed replacement Rodrygo is staying at Real. So he’s either staying or if he pushes to leave he won’t be replaced.

No links for Phillips, Kabore or Wilson Ebrand.

Despite us having no obvious right back we aren’t linked with any though there are links with Guehi, another centre back.

If the offer is good enough, sell Savinho regardless of a replacement. We can get by until January at least with our current wing options (Marmoush, Doku, Bobb, Foden, Cherki). More concerned about getting the goalkeeper situation resolved and getting a right back option in.

Don't disagree, but can't think of any right back I'd want that's obtainable.

The problem is its not next summer josko will play on the left i think the only player who will leave is akanji so we'll have 5 defenders for one spot or 6 if we signed guehi people are already kicking off because peps not playing khus i just don't think the numbers add up the deal would of already been sorted with palace

I could see the club ask PSG during negotiations for Donnarumma about Barcola we've liked him before.
