You must be an attorney. You know damn well what I meant by natural position. The position they've been playing their entire professional lives. i. e. Haaland is a centre forward, Dias is a centre back, get it. Don't be a wise guy.
And you did not answer the question.
Also, nothing mythical about the players who would fit us as legitimate upgrades at the RB position. Maybe you should watch some other leagues once in a while if you want to be taken seriously about identifying players...

That's at least a viable scenario. We may be stuck, I get it, but not the other nonsense of there being no better options like some are saying...

Yeah I watch other leagues.

Enough to know that Lewis and Nunes would look like world beaters in Holland or Portugal.

So far all I've really got from you is you can't identify a right back we should have bought, but Viana should be able to, but also Viana can't sensibly decide they're not actually as good as what we have?

if we don't get a right back maybe its because pep/hugo think nunes and rico can do the job, don't get all this "its incredible" nonsense, i get that some posters would sell their granny just to buy a new player, in fact i can think of one poster who would buy 1000 players and still want a last minute deadline day surprise.

we've strengthened from last season, on top of the players that we lost through injury last season we have a pretty decent squad, plenty of cover, getting to the right age profile,things are looking pretty good, a tweak here and there and we will be just fine, obviously the new players and there are plenty will need to bed in, we've also sent out a few quality lads out on loan to get valuable experience,

please can we have our light hearted "its quiet" back, far too many people on here that all they do is fucking complain,whinge and moan(theyll be on in a minute claiming i dont want to progress " because they know best, they must do they repeat the same shite over and over again) relax its out of our hands("its a forum for opinions" )and look forward to hopefully an exciting and successful season.
 
Is there a possibility of us going for Livramento in January? 4 months of suffering between now and January could make the board sign him just like they did Marmoush.

Question: Did you have any idea who Dean Huijsen was this time last year? Well Bournemouth did and got him from Juventus for 18.2 million euro. Not 60, 70, or 80 million pound. He's gone to Real Madrid for 60 million euro and is currently starting for Spain. Viana built his whole reputation on doing just this at Sporting. I have ZERO doubt he has the list you are asking for. I also think its Pep who is happy with his current RB options. If he really wanted a proper RB he'd get one. That's a good question, had to think about it for a minute.

If Rico's natural position is RB, which it was when he came through the ranks, then - last week?

You know what I'd find more interesting, is what percentage under Pep we would have played with 11 players in their natural/defined positions.

I am not saying that as any type of counter-argument btw, just following up on the logic really. Can't prove or even quantify it, but wouldn't surprise me if it was as low as 30% and below.

I think we'd go for Livramento at a second's notice - tomorrow, January, next summer... whenever we get the green light.

He's obviously the one we're waiting for and I think we're right to wait.

You've missed my point entirely. Viana has identified those right backs.
And he gets paid a shit load of money as the sporting director to do just that. I'd have to go thru all of Serie A, the Bundesliga, La Liga, and Ligue Une to give you the dozen or more options, but I'll do it just for you. I'll get on it when I'm finished watching Spurs get beat by Bournemouth.
