No idea who you are on about :)in fact i can think of one poster who would buy 1000 players and still want a last minute deadline day surprise.

Marmoush is not a left winger and Nico G is not a 6 but that one is understandable...That's a good question, had to think about it for a minute.
If Rico's natural position is RB, which it was when he came through the ranks, then - last week?
You know what I'd find more interesting, is what percentage under Pep we would have played with 11 players in their natural/defined positions.
I am not saying that as any type of counter-argument btw, just following up on the logic really. Can't prove or even quantify it, but wouldn't surprise me if it was as low as 30% and below.

Hopefully we get him. He'd fit right in.I think we'd go for Livramento at a second's notice - tomorrow, January, next summer... whenever we get the green light.
He's obviously the one we're waiting for and I think we're right to wait.

You've missed my point entirely. Viana has identified those right backs.
And he gets paid a shit load of money as the sporting director to do just that. I'd have to go thru all of Serie A, the Bundesliga, La Liga, and Ligue Une to give you the dozen or more options, but I'll do it just for you. I'll get on it when I'm finished watching Spurs get beat by Bournemouth.
If Viana can’t get a RB surely he could get a midfielder that can actually press and pass for 90mins
You’ve been expecting us to be done all summer.Expected something to happen yesterday, think our squad will stay as it is now
And if Newcastle didnt want to sell Livramento, much like Inter didn't want to sell Dumfries, Barca - Kounde, Monaco - Vanderson, Palace - Munoz?
That's how we're here isnt it.
Also Dumfries and Munoz are the wrong age profile for the squad and Vanderson while being the right age profile isn't much more tested at the top level than Lewis or Nunes. It's not impossible that Nunes's potential ceiling at RB is higher.
You can only say we've "missed out on" players that have actually moved imo, and the list is terrible.
Ironically waiting for Livramento, if that's what we're hearing is possible is probably the best policy.
Apparently Cherki and Foden are out. Reijnders is going to be our sole midfield creator. Do we need another midfielder?

That died when we got Nico G.Said it a few times and will say again, we should have gone big for Baleba.
I think we've tried to be too cute and clever in the transfer market again, expecting Pep to once again work miracles plugging gaps in the team.
Surely it’s going to happen…
Surely it’s going to happen…
Surely it’s going to happen…
As an appetizer I'll give you some from Serie A including Kayode on loan at Brentford from Fiorentina. Bellanova, Rensch, Bisseck, Savona and Cambiaso (yes that Cambiaso)...No the whole point im making is Viana can look at all the available right backs, of the right age profile and decide they're not a huge improvement on Rico and Nunes or they're simply not available.
Look forward to the list anyway though
"I have no news, but I'm going to keep posting because I need the attention"Love how it's almost ok.
