It's Quiet the £250m return

The worst transfer window ever for me, was full of promise from various sources and was quite frankly needed due to poor previous windows. We will now fall further behind and nailed on in a fight for 4th place this season. My hunch is we were unable to move on said players due to them being on astronomical wages, I hope the city hierarchy learn from this mess.

I think we finish outside the top 6 this season unfortunately. Key injuries already in one of our poorest squads despite spending over £300m in 8 months is really bad from the club to be honest.

a fight for 4th place looks optimistic judging from the last two games

Tottenham think they can get Savinho in January. According to one of their sources

Can’t see Rodri and Haaland wanting to stick around

That’s a loan with an ‘option’ to buy. A loan with an obligation is just buying the player.
The ‘option’ bit can be exercised by either club (so, if Jackson is shit, Chelsea can insist Munich buy him, if he’s brilliant Munich can insist they buy him, all for the agreed fee.
It’s what the rags did with Ugarte, because it gets round PSR etc, a loan with an obligation is treated exactly like a transfer. At least that’s what Swiss Ramble said and he’s much, much more knowledgeable about this stuff than I am.
There is no way the club loaning the player out can insist the team loaning them buy them if they have been shit just because it says "option", the option is for the team loaning the player should they decide to make it perm , it cant be enforced the other way around if they don't want the player at the end of the load period.

Not when the "obligation" is based on playing 60 games, scoring 15 goals with your weak foot and coming in the top 3 of Eurovision.
