Something so wrong about the Liverpool spending this summer, that they are able to just cherry pick teams like Newcastles best players just shows they have contrived to make the rules exactly how they want them.

The PL and masters are a disgrace and need chasing out of their positions. Liverpool seem to be the chosen club for some reason, god only knows why because Liverpool as a city is an absolute shit hole and so we as a country should be drawing as little attention to it as possible.

I'm sure everybody at the club penned down their dream window and had 4 goalkeepers and no RB. As much as people like to moan about our failings, I'm not sure how Ortega rejecting multiple respectable offers to move is the clubs fault? RB is obviously an issue but do we go and sign another nunes type signing to fill a hole and end up stuck with a player whos not at the level 2 years down the line? Or do we sign a young option and everybody moans how we need a complete product and we've wasted more money like they did with CBs in January? It doesn't sit great with me either that we have no RB but I can completely understand why the club might decide its best to wait and get exactly what we want.

We could have done that with Guimaraes but balked at paying the release clause.
We were also too busy convincing the world that players were playing too much football while at the same time convincing ourselves that time would stand still for another season.

We could and should have done what they've done. Instead, we've chased the net spend trophy to appease journalists and pundits who already fucking hate us
