i imagine its now got abit more personal and we will actually bid for him now. The argument imo recently was that he could leave for free but maybe its not clear and we both cant chance it? Now we will put an official bid in imo.
Wasn't he the president who hired pep and Ferran and Txiki etc
It isn't over
Yes I can hardly see him making Messi train with the B team or leaving him on the bench for the first team.
I think what we certainly do Not need right now, is to be making bids that Barcelona will refuse and quote €700m.
If indeed does ho down that route, it is either Barcelona cone out and say out of reapect theyl let messi go for a (pre-agreed) price which we then offer and they accept.
Or, we bid (a pre-agreed) amount, and barca say out of reapect for messi, they accept it.
But no dancing around and back and forths and media frenzy around that. The situation has been calmed down now, and some line drawn, no need to get it all back into chaos.
yup, it shouldn’t just be Pep we are worried about either, he will go after his old pals!
And I think they’d go too... the chance to rebuild the mighty Barcelona would be too enticing I think. They’d be hero’s.
