Not a wum just nervous about Wolves attacking options vs Stones and otamendi, After what happend in Norwich are you confident if they are our CBs against Wolves?
That was 12 months ago, if 93:20 is true to his word then Otamendi will be gone before we play wolves. Koulibaly is near, apparently, so we might go into the game with a bit of muscle at the back.

I might be guessing wildly here, but I think that transfer spend is at a low ebb because of the covid thing and the consequent slashing of many millions of pounds of tv / advertising and match day income. The decimation of the income that most clubs thought was safe enough to plan around.
That, coupled with a precarious financial future for all spectator sport (due to the high risk of covid returning and supporter income remaining down) means that most clubs are thinking more about how they can meet their existing wage commitments more than how they can afford a new expensive player on a new expensive wage.

Maybe I'm wide of the mark but maybe I'm onto something that might explain something that some people are getting mad about?
