I mean they employ medics and physio's that would tell them meniscus injuries are no joke and not easy/quick to recover from?

Are they hoping he recovers and then is injury free for all season?

Just my opinion but I think the Messi saga made the club take their eye off the ball.

If Liverpool pick up Jota from Wolves in addition to Thiago they will have added two excellent players, improving their squad from last season, have we done that?

We have 2 quality players per position and if both get injured, we make do. We can't have 3 players per position in case 2 get injured. We play one up front, so we have 2 players for that position.
