The "messi money" depends on signing Messi and only Messi, and getting the return on investment from sponsorship. The idea is it would pay for itself many times over. No other player can do that.

Absolutely mate - and would remove the need for Ake to fill in at LB, meaning we could use his legs at DM. Which is the position he played most of his career at before his Chelsea loans.
