Our c£60m cap on transfer fees paid is a concern. No way we are getting proven elite players for that price. Just wish we would go balls deep on someone like Kane.

Poveda looked decent in fairness and would have given most LBs in the league a good game based on his display. It’s almost like we’ve got a lot of talented lads in that academy of ours...Just watched a opposition manager bring on our former youth player to have a go at Mendy to the point we had to bring him off! And some people think he will come good? No chance. LB needed before deadline!
Completely agree though that we need a new LB as Mendy just isn’t up to it.

We should’ve been in for a striker regardless. Sergio won’t be around forever and Jesus simply isn’t clinical enough for us to fully rely on him.Did we know months ago that our two strikers will be injured ?
