We were touting 300 Million dollar war chests to the media and pumping out chests out, and we capitulated across the board.

Our aim this transfer window was a centre back and a winger we got two centre backs and winger it was next season we were going for a striker and a new left back. So we got what we wanted! It’s just the start of the season that has everyone’s knickers in a twist.

We have one of if not the best squad in the premier.

Don’t think the club ever mentioned a war chest, so not sure how you can say we “capitulated”. It’s been a pretty good window overall, as we’ve improved our centre half options greatly and replaced Sane. Still a few weaknesses in the squad that need addressing, but you can’t have everything. Too much financial uncertainty with Covid for us to go gung-ho in the market imo.

Utd signing Telles and Cavani. I’d have taken both of them at City.
Those two and Douglas Luiz would have solved a lot of problems, especially with the Chumps league coming thick and fast after the break
Telles yes, no to Cavani as I think he is past it and his wages will be sky high. We need a young pacey centre forward

Seems like Douglas Luiz is the new in thing for people on here after yesterday. Personally don't think he is good enough starting for us at all. Regards to someone saying we could have done with Cavani, no point buying someone who is as injury prone if not more, less clinical and older than Aguero. Leftback was my only priority but seems like the club really want Mendy to succeed, which does make sense. I am guessing next year we will be on the lookout for a LB, Striker (If Aguero moves) and a CM. Atleast we won't need to buy a CB anytime soon now.
