Apologies, Blues - life and the kids finishing school getting in the way more than normal these days!

Ake is correct. Hope it can get done next week for £30m plus add-ons.

Everton are keen on re-signing Stones but Otamendi's people are quite prepared to run down their final year.

Something seriously big is being worked on and seemingly not Koulibaly, either.

I'm still hoping it could be Havertz but not heard any more on that front and all the reports stating Chelsea are willing to pay £90m.

Otamendi may not have a squad spot if we buy 2 centre backs.

On the something big Sam Lee mentioned Joao Felix who would be very expensive.

Seriously big? Is it transfer related or are we finally buying certain clubs that play in red (and burning down obviously)

Seriously big? Could it be João Félix as Sam Lee was talking about in the podcast?

so koulibaly isnt the big transfer or we arent now looking at him?

reckon so

Dont think Alaba was every likely - he doesnt want to move and it was probably just lazy journalism linking Pep with an ex player of his

Harvetz - we dont have room for him. Lots of players in his position and that position isnt a priority esecially while Aguero/KDB/Foden/GJ are all around. We also have other priorities for the money - Centre half (possibly 2 of them) and a wide player (Probably Torres)

We still have FFP to content with as has every club and while the rules around that are being relaxed there wil still be limitations especially as income is down due to no crowds etc. It also has to be remembered Chelsea have had a transfer embargo for a year and therefore have extra cash to burn

Havertz would have filled the same need as Torres but is possibly a step up. Very good player. Torres looks superb though, especially for 20

Hasn't been a success at Atletico, so far.....

Would they be willing to sell him after 1 season? And would we be willing to take that risk?
