I’d put a bid in for Mitrovic personally...he knows where the back of the net is, only 26 and would have half a chance with the crosses we put in that sail over our other player’s heads...

I wouldn't be against a signing like this or Ings for example.
We over think in front of goal at times and create so many chances. Meat and drink to this type of forward.

I say Mitrovic because he will put in 6 or 7 out of 10 of the chances created by us...he has “natural“ ability similar to, but not as good as Berbatov (who I would have loved to have played for us in a pure football sense, though obviously hated because he went over to the dark side) who would imho thrive on the service our midfield and wings would give him. Also, at 6’ 2”, would be handy defending free kicks and corners...and a bully boy to boot...

I hate Jose with a passion (and spurs) - but if he gets his counter attacking system right (this is not definite however) they could do reasonably well

I dont expect Utd or spurs to be title rivals BUT they could take points off us, the scousers etc as could chelsea so it could be a lot closer

Lets wait for the Wolves game. If they rip our defence apart and we drop points Txiki will have a different look on the transfer window.

But if we get a clean sheet and we win then maybe no more incoming transfers for us this window.

Same with United, dont think they were looking at top CB's, they seem to focus on Sancho deal which took away the focus form other positions like CB but seeing this performance could make them focus on defence.

We'd still get asked for 50m for Mitrovic, maybe that is the reason fuck all is happening, we're sick of being held to ransom.
