For me, I only trust three people on this forum for "exclusives" - Tolmie, Steven and Ahsan, with the understanding that they won't always be right, but at least they're not taking the rest of us for a ride.

Outside the forum, I trust Sam to tell the truth "after the event". He rarely has any exclusives, but he's not a liar and definitely a sincere journalist. And I rate sincerity a lot. So I expect him to source his article properly and tell the whole story, let's say after a transfer has happened

David Ornstein and Jack Gaughan are usually quite good and reliable

He did well enough for us when he played in the 1st team. He might not be a specialist left back but he does an adequate job.

You don't need a world class player in every position. See Liverpool. See Sevilla. They win stuff because they are a functional team - how we used to be. They have distinctly ordinary players too.

He did a decent job no doubt but his form last season was awful, he could not make simple passes and was caught out of position a lot. He is not a lb and we need competition for that position. A quality player to take over from mendy.
