Just bumped into one of the physios (not sure of his name, I always seen him on videos) at Scholes field and jokingly asked about Kane.

He shook his head, said £180m and listed his injuries. He said he’d prefer Mbappe or Haaland but both seem to prefer elsewhere. That was more his opinion.

He did say ‘there could be a surprise coming in the next 48 hours’. I obviously asked what and he said ‘well we need a forward don’t we?’…

Could be bollocks. Could be him on a wind up but still thought it’s worth sharing.

(post history shows I’m not one for saying stuff like this so it’s not me chatting shite - like on other topics - just passing on what he said)

There were also someone on the forum saying Atletico had submitted a bid for Bernardo. Could it be a Bernardo-Felix swap? Both are Mendes clients, and he was apparently in Manchester a couple days ago

Dont thnk Mendes is officially anymore for Felix, but he definitely brokered the move to Madrid

A mate of a mate (I know!!) has a tenuous relationship to a family member of Grealish (reading that back to myself & I know it sounds shit) and he was told up until the day it was announced that he was staying at Villa.

it would actually be really upsetting if we go into the season without a striker. Still think we can win the league without one. But just not to strengthen from a position at the top would be not ideal.

Saw a chance to get some inside info, took it and shared it here - on, believe it or not, a City fan forum in a thread talking about transfers. Not about ‘feeling good’ on social media.

Like the post said, not something I usually do or hunt for and admitted it could well be bollocks.

Totally with you on this......and to other posters.....if you see an opportunity like this and don't ask the question and don't report it on here then that's just disappointing. Chance meetings, bit of gossip....that's the last 2,300 pages
