I'm not really buying the Harry Kane links. Not really the profile, overall.

We wouldn't spend more than 60m on koulibaly at his age, when he was supposedly our no.1 priority, to replace a club legend. Instead we spent slightly more on a younger player.

I see this as the same, 120m (for arguements sake, as the quoted figure) for Kane? 2017 called, wants its headline back. 120m for haaland, makes sense. not for Kane.

I Can see Kane to Madrid though. Persumably they would think Levy would accept less from them in order to not sell to a league rival, and i doubt levy really believes he can get as high for him from anyone in the PL.
Harry would want a move to a top club, and at his age would feel ready for it. And Madrid get to flex their muscle in the market, if really interested in Haaland, by getting in a similar type player.

Although i'd still expect them to go for mbappe, even if it means sticking with benzema another year.

not very well at all

Jesus is a likeable guy with many good qualities as a player, but replace Agüero is something he cannot do.

I was leaning toward being replaced by the change in system. He was told that he wouldn't be guaranteed minutes if he were to stay here. Sergio Aguero, 100 % fit yet still not in the team? why? Because he doesn't suit the way we now play. Our striker is now asked to press relentlessly, drop deep to link play and draw out defences(Jesus not offside very much anymore), interchange and drift wide to overload the wing whilst our midfielders get into the box. These are things you'd struggle to get Serge doing, even in his prime. Now with age and injuries taking their toll, he has become surplus to requirements.
We're looking for someone with a completely different skillset than Aguero possesses. For example Danny Ings would actually suit our current system more than Aguero does, he's not even half the "striker" Serge is but would be a square peg to fit the square hole in our team.

You can always tell how well we're doing with a big transfer when you hear about high wage demands and an attitude problem.

good stuff blues!

Prepare yourself for a) lots of click bait linking Haarland with lots of clubs but particularly the Rags.... lots of Rags read the Sun ! b) if we do land Haarland (and it remains a big if) the media will link the Rags with every top player in the world until they overpay for some overhyped journeyman who will be immediately pitched in the same bracket as Haarland.

it’s one of the many pluses of breaking the bank for Haarland - the Rags won’t be able to handle it and you just know they’ll react badly and run out and buy the next high profile player available- it’s what they do.

Jesus is a great utility player. He works his arse off and can hold the ball really well. I have liked him on the left (where he plays for Brazil). As a replacement for Kun? No. But would be sad to see him leave. I can think of others I would prefer to see leave before him.

as a back up 2nd 3rd choice from the bench or injuries he is an option but this is more to do with an agent trying get a new better contract at his club or another club coming in for him with a better contract..

so put it in the box of agent doing his job..

Him and Zinchenko could be a band from the last clip in this video
