Ha ha, ok mate. Maybe discussing how much fucking coin he would be getting and what an arrogant **** he actually is. Make no mistake, we've dodged a big bullet here, this is a man Yoo classic panic signing for mega money.
A big bastard win tomorrow will sort out that morale and don't forget, we have the best manager on the planet.

My thoughts exactly. It's less the specific failure with Ronaldo and him going to Utd that's the problem, it's that happening in the bigger picture of the Summer long search for a striker.

No I shouldn’t. Posted my views on Ronaldo, and I got a load of shit for them! I therefore feel justified in my opinion to give a bit of shit back

Don't disagree with that mate. I wasn't particularly arsed about the element of it pissing the rags off - more excited about us actually getting a born finisher, something we massively lack.

Hope we sort that out before the end of the window but I doubt it. If we rush into negotiations now then clubs will know we're desperate, ask for more and we'll Mother Theresa out of the gaff on our high horse again.

If only we had one of the world's best finishers sitting there waiting for us to bid £25m for him. Apparently as of this morning it was only us in the race, if we'd have sorted the bid out last night then it'd most likely be sorted.

Or 3 weeks ago when the other best finisher in the world became available on a free but we sat ringing Levy's doorbell waiting for him to answer instead.

Like I said, not annoyed at missing out on Ronaldo in particular, just the qualities he'd bring. We need a goalscorer.

He's in jail too. It's depressing as fuck. Part of you says wait because it's going through the courts but how can I not feel totally disgusted by him

Griezmann at Atletico was pretty much the perfect striker for Pep, he was able to play as a false 9 or on his own up front, he drifted around, he created, he pressed like a dog, he scored incredible goals out of nothing.

But his wages are far too high, Barca need him, and I doubt he wants to leave now Messi is finally out of his way on the pitch.

yes, good point, I dont mind international break will take their mind off of those things. I am sure they were fully aware of Kane arriving (at least that was the big plan and even our ITK-s were dead positive) and now CR and they were talking to the Portuguese team mates about him.
but Mendy case is like a "grenade", if he is innocent their friend and team mate is in prison, if he is not innocent thats a 100x worse.
