A dying profession due to proprietors’ greed, and it shows in the state of modern print media. Some papers have barely trained cub reporters writing straight into pre-designed page boxes nowadays and published without any legal, factual or grammatical oversight. That has led to shockers like this

Yep, I thought it sounded like nonsense. £100 million is about £15 million over what I think we should pay, but oddly enough nobody from City has asked me ;)

I suppose the temptation for Spurs is if it’s a one off payment hit up front and the interest that would save on loans too. I’d make that a take it or leave it offer. If they get more money over longer it’s probably worth less if you factor it over say three years.

Throwing his name into the pot yesterday evidenced a wider zero knowledge, outside of the public knowledge of his unhappiness at not playing every week for City, the delayed contract talks.

People like Romano and others don't have the bottle to write Sterling's situation because they don't fucking know it - because they don't have any contacts at City.

They won't write Sterling is leaving, Sterling is quitting, Sterling is signing a new deal - a definitive statement - because it then leaves them immediately open to scrutiny and being exposed for the chancers they are.

Here's one - Sterling has told people he is not leaving City this summer.
