Keep reading this....why does he 'hate' us?

If you Google Watzke Manchester City, I’m sure you’ll get some choice cuts from his commentary around the CAS verdict, as well as his graceful parting comments when we signed Gundo from them.

He also specifically targets our Academy - having taken Sancho, Denzeil Boadu and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens from us over the last 4 seasons, suggesting a very clear strategy on his part - and I’d imagine his pitch on their chances of making it at City is hardly complimentary!

I’d say it fair to assume he hates our Club.

Imagine that conversation. "I know you want to go to your boyhood club with the best team and manager in the world, and that they've made an offer that will keep our club alive for the next 5 years, but I hate the bitter plastic blue cunts so much that you have to stay here playing for our shit team in the Europa League because it's only going to cost me £50 million in oil money anyway and I'd rather waste that than help them."

I’ve been a huge fan of the utterly professional way City have conducted transfer business these last few years after the initial few years where we HAD to spend huge money in order to break into the top 4 before FFP shut the door for ever (As an aside why did the media never ask if football pre-City was so fair and equitable why did it take so many hundreds of millions for a mid table premier league team to break into the top 4? But I digress..)

But...but...but... the irrational, still-a-child-inside part of me is hoping against hope that THIS summer we go nuclear and really show the rest of the world who we are.

130m for Haaland, 80m for Grealish, 50/60m for a top level LB and just as a cherry on top how about another year or two for the greatest manager in the world.

A couple of hundred million spent at the end of a season where we are champions again as well as possibly 2 or 3 other cups would be a sight to see.

The way transfers are amortisized as well I doubt we’d even be in danger of failing FFP even if it hadn’t been relaxed. Jesus, for shits and giggles imagine throwing Messi in on top of that lot. The vast vats of urine boiled from 2008-2014 would look like a mild tantrum if the above came true.

Make it happen City. Make this middle aged old tosser feel like a teenager again.

EDIT: Whilst I’m dreaming why not throw in 200m or so in new sponsorships from non-Arab companies. I honestly think that could finish off a few pundits and journos.
That couple of million will also be offset by not unsizeable outgoings too, from fringe players/those on loan/academy etc

Its extremely do-able!

I was thinking there was something far more specific/concrete.

I suspect the hate is no more severe than any other jealous/bitter chairman can muster.
