This "small window" excuse from the club doesn't wash.

They released Aguero in March. March to August is not small window.

The board clearly had no plan with who to replace Aguero with. Txiki knew 3 years ago that Aguero needed replacing soon. So in reality the window has been 3 years.

That said - we may already be screwed. It's been reported that Haaland has agreed terms with Chelsea and that Chelsea are willing to spend huge to meet Dortmund's demands.

I would prefer Haaland over Kane but I trust the club, they've got most transfers right.
