It seems with Mendes, Sporting were hoping for a big Euros and plenty of suitors. When that's not happened, they've dropped the asking price to €50m. With a bit of haggling, add ons and Porro, City could see it as a great opportunity to snatch a bargain.

We need a new up and coming left back, up and coming centre half, midfielder and another flyer up front and someone who is more clinical in front of goal. One, or two of those might already be on the books (EDS, out on loan) and we shouldn't be selling anyone aside from Ake from the established first team squad

We have all of those already in or part of the squad
Lavia, Esbrand, Mbetta, THB, Cole Palmer, Braff + the 2 Brazilan kids & the Argentine sacrimento think he's called.
