I understand that view, but signing the level of player we want is not easy. The're are not many strikers of Kane's level knocking about, never mind on the market. Grealish is a top player but his purchase isn't as important as a striker. Surely it would be better to go with what we have than buy someone not at the standard required.

Call me old fashioned but I think the time to review our transfer window is when it has closed. We haven't done too badly recently. Have faith in our owners

I actually like the fact that we don't own the transfer record. In the inflation adjusted all time world transfer list we don't have anyone in the top 20.

A lot of the most expensive players were bought in the early 90s by Italian clubs.

So I get where Sinclair is coming from. We groaned and laughed when United bought Veron, Di Maria, Pogba et al
