I'm currently away, so not really looped in, but just to say City and Villa were talking late last night and it sounds like we might be almost be there on the fee and structure for Grealish.

Maybe a matter of hours, rather than days.
Talking shite. Where's the abstract video you lazy fucker.......

"I'm not looped in but here's some exclusive news about negotiations going late into the night yesterday"

What would you find out if you were looped in!

The deal might done in hours but think him being revealed and city announcing it think it be next week..

Imminent and nearly Imminent, get them signed and playing up front.

Someone will leak it as soon as it's done, probably Villa or Grealish's camp. We'll probably get all the club briefed articles in every paper saying "Villa and City agree deal in the region of £X" and then it'll take a few days for it to get announced by the clubs officially.

I would not be surprised if Villa announce the deal before we are ready with interviews and media etc, that's the kind of pettiness you get from a club when you sign their last 2 captains back to back.

Have a lot of debates with my mates regarding this one. They all say the same thing in that his tackling is so strong and his ability to win the ball back is severely underrated. They don't seem to realise that the reason his stats are high in that regard is because he hasn't got a clue what he's doing when he has the ball and tends to win it back after losing it.

But there's only one club you're allowed to criticise for splurging £50mill on a full-back...
No he’s a good defender, offers very little going forward though and that’s the main problem for him and full backs nowadays, they’re not far off being wing backs even when not. Sterling doesn’t get a sniff against him, defends really well. Walker makes a lot of recovery tackles, that’s not him losing it and having to recover. If he had anything going forward he’d be really good rather than just good. If they got Trippier it wouldn’t be to replace him I don’t think, maybe to play in games against the shitter teams when they need another option.
