Not sure which Euros you watched but he was genuinely fantastic vs Italy. His only bad game was the first when he was on the right side and had to link up with Marcos Llorente, who's not quite a right back

I get he wants out so it's fair to start judging him on being shite somehow but he is a top class centre back who had a very good Euros and blended in very quick despite first appearance with Spain and that too at a major tournament. Sounds easy but if he goes we will be short on quality

Laporte is a massive slapped arse and I wouldn't be sorry to see him go. Quality player no doubt but his reaction to being dropped for the first time in his City career was to want to leave. We don't need players like that.

Bernardo I will be very sad to see leave but if that's what he wants I will wish him all the best.

I'm guessing Cancelo may well be one of the others who wants to leave. Maybe Gabby too? I don't see Ake wanting to leave as he will never get wages like he's currently on for the rest of his career.

I remember Laporte say he never played less football than last season, in disappointment.

I don't like his build-up play anyway, always expecting a poor touch and poor pass.

I prefer Aké as 2nd LCB behind Dias. If only Sandler would stay fit as RCB we wouldn't even need replacement. Bit of a gamble though.

laportes build up play is one of his strongest points, he is a better cb than stones imo, however stones/dias partnership is the best combination

Bernardo was promised a move this year and will be allowed to go.

Jesus can leave if we get a reasonable offer.

Laporte isn't going anywhere this summer, even though he wants to. Unless something strange happens.

That's where I think we're at.

I don't think we replace any of them if they leave by the way. Jesus and Bernardo will be squad players if we sign Kane as well as Grealish, and the club seem to rate Sandler enough to keep him as 4th choice in an emergency.

If that CVC deal goes through I can see Real Madrid going in for Laporte.
